This beautiful villa, just steps from the Dunes House beach club in the heart of Palmetto Dunes, is perfect for beach-loving guests who desire all the spectacular amenities of the Palmetto Dunes resort within walking distance.

The tastefully remodeled kitchen opens to the spacious living area, featuring two balconies, a large flat-screen TV, and a sleeper sofa that complements the light and bright atmosphere. The dining area between the living space and kitchen creates an open and inviting feel throughout the villa.

The master bedroom offers a King bed, flat-screen TV, and an ensuite bath with a vanity area and a separate tub/shower. What an amazing week we had on Hilton Head. The villa was clean, spacious, and steps from the beach, pool and our favorite General Store. Our dog Elphie loved exploring and playing with other dogs on the beach. We look forward to returning!

Very Nice Property

This property is well-kept and clean. The beds and linens were excellent. The kitchen is very well stocked with all necessary cookware and the appliances were great. The location cannot be beat. Our only issue was with some of the water fixtures, locks on the deck doors and a need for some updating.

The unit was in a great location and is spacious. It is advertised as newly updated but the bath tubs and toilets are in need of updating and there is a lack of water pressure. Otherwise the unit is nice

Great family vacation!

We had a great stay at the Moorings! Such a great location, within steps to the beach, community pool, tennis courts, and the Dunes house. The property management was easy to work with and provided us with constant communication. Overall, great stay and canā€™t wait to come back again!

Great Stay

My husband and I stayed in The Moorings in early March 2024. The unit was very clean and equipped with the essentials. We went to the beach every day and rode the bicycles which were included in the rental. We also played pickleball at the nearby courts. The only disappointment was that we could not use the pool as the weather was cool. Will return next year.

Nice time in Palmetto Dunes

We had a great time at the Moorings. The apartment was spotlessly clean and is in a great location; the proximity to the beach is fantastic. Also nice to have the bikes and beach chairs! The apartment could need a few updates in the two master bathrooms and also new couch. We had a great time though and would love to come back! Thanks!

Solid condo, needs one day of a handyman

Good place to stay. A lot of small items that need fixed. Kitchen faucet about to fall off, dryer damages anything with a drawstring, shower rod needs fixed in master. Just little stuff, still really enjoyed our stay

Wonderful location and fantastic property

We had an incredible stay!! We spent the week with our 3 daughters (25, 18, 14). The property is so spacious that we all had ample room to spread out and also had great privacy. Itā€™s a short jaunt to the beach and literally a few steps to the pool all day and a short bike ride to so many activities. We didnā€™t even have to get in a car if we didnā€™t want!! We will definitely be back!!

Great location!

This unit was conveniently located near the beach and Dunes House restaurant. It was an easy walk to both. The unit conveniently provided 2 bikes and allowed for pets. We did have some trouble getting in with the key code, but I may have taken a screenshot of the code from the app prematurely, not thinking the code would be changed at check in time! We were able to get the new code promptly with a call to the rental agency. Kitchen supplies were adequate. There were several games and books. The washing machine and dryer held large loads. I would rent this unit again.

Property clean, location great minutes from the beach. Property managers very attentive. Only recommendation is that it could use some updating, especially Dining seating, only for 4, but kitchen very well equipped. Windows poor visibility due to moisture between pane. Dog friendly, so not only did we have a wonderful stay, so did our Pooch.

Hilton Head close to ocean front

The condo was clean but smelled musty. Our host.hostess did not contact us at all. The dish washer did not dry dishes at all. I wonā€™t use vrbo again. We arrived ahead of hurricane Ian and learned on arriving we wouldnā€™t be refunded our money or rescheduled even if the area was excavated. We were told this even though we were emailed and told we should consider not coming due to severity of the storm. Iā€™m assuming others were able to get a refund or reschedule as the entire huge complex was almost deserted. Really disappointed in vrboā€™s refusal to refund in case of evacuation. Iā€™ll deal with owners directly or real estate offices from now on. Shame on you.

The location of the property was excellent for our needs. The unit needs a thorough cleaning. The decks were in desperate need of pressure washing to remove the black mold. As a result they were unusable. The clothes dryer left black marks in our clothes with every use. The access codes for the bike locks and pool bathrooms were inaccurate in our welcome package as well as the information provided in the unit. These seem like small items but items that nonetheless should be addressed

A great week

Location here is the name of the game. This was our first stay in The Moorings. Donā€™t think weā€™ll go anywhere else from this point on. Thanks for the two adult bikes. Three bathrooms was perfect with two tween girls. Preparing for departure was a breeze too.
