The Unit we own is 425 Captains Walk located in Palmetto Dunes Resort in the heart of Hilton Head. Captains Walk Complex has the best views of all the complexes in Palmetto Dunes. The Views aren't angled or small in the least. The Living Room window is 12 feet long and the Master Bedroom Sliding Door is 12 feet long as well. With the close proximity to the beach and being on the top floor you can literally see far and wide without anything blocking your view.

It is not just all about the view it has new furniture and beach decor throughout. This 5th Floor Unit was recently renovated and equipped with new appliances and 9 foot ceilings. You will not find those old tired low popcorn ceilings here like you will with outdated units. The Private balcony is accessible from the Living Room and Master Bedroom with a 42" patio table with 4 chairs.
Master bedroom offers a King bed with private bath with tub/shower plus built-in dressing/makeup area.
The Villa will accommodate 2 Families, Grandparents or any combination for sleeping 8, so bring along the crew. BR2 offers a Queen bed & Twin bed with Twin Trundle along with a bathroom tub/shower combo. Tempurpedic mattresses throughout with an additional Queen Sleeper Sofa in Living Room to sleep 8 comfortably.
All main areas are well lit with LED recessed lighting with LED lamps throughout the bedrooms. The master bedroom, living room and guest bedroom have an overhead fan with light combo with a convenient wall switch to control fan speed and dim the lights. Very rare to find overhead lighting in Captains Walk most are dimly lit by lamps and without ceiling fans.
The Kitchen is appointed with new stainless steel appliances range, microwave, oven, dishwasher, 2 types of coffee pots, tea pot, mixer, ninja blender and fully equipped for simple to elaborate holiday meals.
Laundry room located off the kitchen with a washer / dryer.
50MB high speed internet with Wifi, Digital Cable, 4K Samsung Smart TV’s in 3 rooms, Blu-ray player, board games, books and some puzzles for use for in room relaxing. Villa has 55" in LR, 50" in MBR and 40" in 2nd BR and since they are smart TV's feel free to login to Netflix or Amazon Prime just like at home.
Linen, Bath Towels, Soap, Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, Dishwashing Liquid and Shampoo are provided for your convenience.
Keyless door entry allows ease of access and you don't have to worry about keeping track of keys while at the beach.
Captains Walk building includes a 5 floor elevator, luggage carts, bike racks and free parking onsite.
Complex amenities include Poolside Grills, Lounge Chairs, Picnic Table eating area, Bathrooms, Kid Pool and 22’x50’ Pool that is heated in March, April, October and November. Access to the beach is private for Captains Walk only and you literally can see it the whole way as you walk on one of two access boardwalks. On the beach lifeguards are present seasonally and offer umbrella chairs for rent along with some other beach equipment. Just bring your own beach towels.
Inside the Palmetto Dunes gated community in which Captains Walk is located you will find plenty of things to do. Palmetto Dunes is home to 3 championship golf courses including 1 oceanfront course. Tennis, basketball and playgrounds are available as well. Fish or canoe/kayak the 11 mile lagoon that stretches throughout Palmetto Dunes. Fish or paddle the ocean with rentals available onsite at Hilton Head Outfitters. Bike paths are located all around the island as well as within Palmetto Dunes. Make your reservations before you come and have everything delivered right to the bike rack outside Captains Walk. Take the free Dunes Buggy (seasonal) to shop or watch fireworks at Shelter Cove. Walk or ride to the General Store or Restaurants located within Palmetto Dunes.
We are next door to Disney's Signal Seaside Grill which is open to the public. Walk over and enjoy some Disney food and ask for the Dole Whip.
