"This was the perfect house for the 4 of us. The location is very close to the park and beaches. The kids enjoyed their private bed and bath. We all very much enjoyed the porch to watch the ocean overlooking the pond with the koi. So relaxing! The owner was also fantastic. Our questions were answered almost immediately! "This was a lovely home that served as our base for one night during a brief visit to Volcano National Park. The rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of frogs and other chirping critters at night. It was an easy drive to the entrance of the National Park. "

We booked the Bantam Suite (which looks upon the incredible heritage banyan tree on the property), but when we arrived we were offered the Carriage House due to a cancellation – we took it, and it gave us a kitchen, a LOT of space, and ocean views (and lovely sunrises) right from the bed.
