"Amazing lake and location. The updates they have made are really impactful. Our family of 6 felt right at home. The spiral staircase is tough to climb, but it makes for a great use of space and the upper level is easy to sleep in. The shore is beautiful. Make sure you ask them about the kayaks and rafts to rent. We enjoyed the patio every morning and were in the water all day. Ideal for families. Probably not a great spot for heavy party trips. "Nice place. Loved sitting out on the lower deck looking at the lake. If you are looking for lake access, this isn't it. Rent a boat for a day or go to Pokagon State Park and use their beach. We lost our long-term rental on Lake James when the owner sold it. In the past, every summer we would drive over the border to play golf on Iyopawa and we knew the area. "All the comforts of home and then some. This is a beautiful, spacious home for my family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The home was clean, had all the necessities we would need for cooking, showering, sleeping. They even have 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards in the garage we were able to use. The lake access was a short walk and the neighborhood is very nice and quiet. We had one issue with no hot water the day we checked in, and someone was there to fix it within an hour.
