"We visited Hill City for the 4th of July to celebrate and visit family. We wanted our own space to retreat to with our two children and this property was perfect! It sits just outside of town, away from the crowds but close enough to quickly get back to the fun! The units were clean, nicely organized and had everything we could have needed if we forgot something. The view of Hill Lake is gorgeous. I highly recommend this place if you need a quiet, peaceful lake retreat! "

"We really enjoyed our relaxing family get together over the long Labor Day weekend! The outdoor space is so great to hang out, have a meal, play some games and just enjoy being together. The water was really low being the dog fays of summer but we managed to get our kayaks out while also using the canoe and kayak they have for guests.the wildlife was an added bonus. The deer were so fun to watch. We would see a doe and her twin fawns walk down to the water for a drink and the little chipmunk by...

"Beautiful and peaceful lake and location. Very cute, cozy and clean cabin. Kayaking the creek to Eagle Lake is a must! Fun lake to swim and fish. Owners are easy to reach and respond in a timely manner. We really enjoyed our time as a family here! "

"We stayed at Dante's house for 3 nights in August and it was a blast. The house was well kept and had plenty of space for our family of 13. The game garage was super fun - ping pong / air hockey / foozeball and an arcade cabinet. The bunk house was fun for the younger girls they loved have their own space. The pool table in the basement got a lot of use, really nice table.Two notes to be aware of- Lake is a fishing lake not a swimming lake, muck bottom going far out. You need rafts to reach good...

"We had a blast at the cabin! The location was awesome. It was super quiet. We took full advantage of the Lily Pad, and had a lot of fun on the pontoon. We spotted swans, loons, and 2 eagles right outside the windows of the cabin. We highly recommend two restaurants, McGregor Baking Company for delicious treats and sandwiches/salads, and The Craft House for anything on the menu. There were plenty of games and books for young kids, and paper/markers for creating artworks."

We had prompt and positive communications with our host. It is charming, quaint, quiet, beautiful, clean and peaceful. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you need. The kayaks are a great addition and so fun to paddle around the bay. The bunkhouse and fire pit are lovely. We will be back! "
