Our stay could not have been more perfect.We felt David spoiled us with amenities that went beyond a 5 Star Hotel. What a treat it was to walk into such a beautiful space and have wine , amazing snacks and a refrigerator stocked with all that one would need. Our club will definitely return. Thank you for this relaxing retreat. Ps yo must eat at the Highlands Tavern below. The chef and owner are amazing. The food is awesome. Enjoy

Great place to stay. A little difficult finding the location, but any anxiety goes away once you reach the destination. You should book it as you see and feel it. You won't be disappointed. Host graciously stocked up our stay with some very nice amenities which was a first-class touch to go along with the first-class location.

I cannot say enough about how great this property is and how well appointed the amenities are in this gorgeous home away from home! The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. The property is clean and neat. Having basic groceries, spices and appliances is definitely ramped up here to a level of luxury that you have to see to believe. We were provided with foods and beverages that made our stay so easy and so tasty. The location is right in the heart of downtown and steps away from excellent dining and shopping. I'm already looking forward to our next stay! Thank you!

David’s home is in the center of town and is walkable to all the shops and restaurants. Check in was easy, the place was pristine and he set us up with everything you could want including wine, beer, snacks, fruit and breakfast items! This is the best VRBO we have ever stayed at!! Hands down! Beautiful apartment, great owner/communicator and great location.

Exceptional property in a perfect location. The "welcome package" of wine, beer, soda, water, snacks, chocolates and other basic food items (coffee, cereal, milk, etc.) provided a first-class touch. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

If you are looking for a well-appointed, luxury stay in the heart of Highlands, this is your place. David was amazingly responsive, the two-bedroom condo was roomy but warm and welcoming, and the location was perfection. The bonus was getting to know the owner of the Highlands Tarven below. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back.

We absolutely adore this property and its owner, David, and have stayed here so many times over the years that we’ve truly lost count. The location, the property itself, and its gracious and hospitable owner truly make this rental property the very best we’ve ever experienced on VRBO (or through other service). My husband and I stayed in The Nest for a week and had a fine time. Don't be deterred by the entrance, which is on an alley through a brown door smack dab next to the door to the kitchen in the tavern under the unit. Once you are in, you will be pleased. It seems spacious, is surprisingly quiet, is clean, and well lit, including with good size windows in every room. The kitchen and bathrooms seem new. David King, the property manager, is incredibly helpful and responsive. The "welcoming" treats were amazing - wine, cheese, crackers, cookies and more. All in all a good stay in a lovely little town.

The property’s location cannot be beat. Walking distance to everywhere you would like to go in Highlands. The host went above and beyond stocking the property with snacks and drinks, which we greatly appreciated after a long drive to get there. I can’t say enough great things about the property. We come to Highlands on a very frequent basis, but this time we wanted to be in downtown in the middle of everything. The NEST was perfect in every detail. Every aspect was covered in this unit from welcome snacks and beverages to soft music playing on the Bose speakers. It was perfect and better than anticipated. Even the Highland's Tavern folks downstairs went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Once we parked our cars we were able to walk to every restaurant and shop we wanted to visit during our stay. The Nest will definitely be on our list for future visits to Highlands!

We thoroughly enjoyed The Nest! A very cool place in a perfect location, easy walk to everything in downtown Highlands including some hiking trails. The host was very responsive and included some nice touches with extra amenities waiting for us upon our arrival. We absolutely recommended The Nest!
