Relax to the the sounds of the flowing brook in this beautiful, restored pre-civil war era home. Tucked away on a dead end street with access to scenic trails along the brook!

The 2 bathrooms are perfect for freshening up after a day West Point. Our 1 Full bathroom is equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash so you don`t have to worry about bringing your own.

☆☆KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM☆☆

This friendly home features a spacious living room with modern, clean decor and natural light. Featuring 2 comfy sofas (1 with a chaise) a 65` HDTV making it the perfect room to gather with your group and enjoy some quality time together.

Our kitchen is complete with new appliances and all the basic cooking amentias!


You can also enjoy high-speed WiFi, making it easy to plan your next adventure or get some work done during your stay.

☆☆OUTSIDE SPACE☆☆

Make your way to the front deck/patio where you`ll find comfy outdoor chairs and a small wood fire pit on a quiet dead end street!

*NOTE* This outdoor space is shared with the upstairs unit

HOME DISTANCE IN MILES FROM:

This stunning home is ideally located close to West Pint, Bear Mtn State park, shopping, groceries, and bars/restaurants, making it a great location for families, tourists and business travelers alike.

The upstairs unit is also used for a short term rental. Guests may or may not be occupied during your stay.

You can also book both units for larger families! Please ask for availability!

Please note that you are staying in a house and not a hotel. We expect that you will treat it with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to resolve them immediately.

- The booking guest must be over the age of 25. Verification may be required.
- No smoking is allowed in the home or on the property. A $500 fee will be applied if there is evidence of smoking during the stay.
✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and security deposit. We know security deposits are annoying, so to make it easier on you we have 2 options that you can choose between:

Option 1: Damage Waiver ($59) - Have a worry-free stay with coverage for up to $1,500 for accidental damage (spills, breaks, mishaps) with no surprise charges. Just relax and enjoy your stay. Coverage up to 10 nights, +$2/day for longer stays, and provided by a third-party insurance company.

Option 2: Security Deposit ($1,500) - Refundable temporary hold that releases after your stay.

To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it`s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.

Rental Agreement:

1. LIMITED OCCUPANCY: Occupancy is limited to the maximum number of guests stated in the listing. Only registered guests included in the reservation are permitted to stay at the property. If the Owner concludes that this policy has been breached, the Owner reserves the right to expel the entire party with no refund.
2. NON-DISTURBANCE CLAUSE: Renter and their guests shall not disturb, annoy, endanger (fireworks), or create inconvenience for neighbors nor use the premises for any unlawful purposes.
3. CARE OF PREMISES/DAMAGES: NO PETS ALLOWED. NO SMOKING PERMITTED IN HOUSE. Automatic eviction plus forfeit of deposit and rent if violated. Renter agrees to pay the Owner for any damages to furnishings, household items, or pool that occur as a result of Renter’s occupancy. This will include payment of any additional cleaning charges over $100.00 incurred due to Renter’s occupancy.
4. OWNERS RIGHTS: Renter agrees that if the conditions and limitations set forth herein are not met, Owner shall have the right to cancel this agreement and may enter the Property, either by statutory proceedings or by force, to inspect the Property and ensure that Renter has vacated the Property. All monies paid by Renter shall be forfeited as liquidated damages.
5. INDEMNITY CLAUSE: Renter hereby agrees to Indemnify and hold the Owner harmless from any and all claims, including those of third parties, arising out of or in any way related to Renter’s use of Property or the items of personal property provided therein. Renter assumes all risk of injury or other losses relating to any recreational activities, including the use of the private swimming pool on the Property, and will hold Owner harmless with respect thereto.
6. NO SUBLETTING: Renter may not sublet or assign this lease for all or any part of the premises without the prior written consent of the Owner.
7. REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE: The Property is rented with the Owner’s furniture and household furnishings. The owner shall not be responsible for providing additional furnishings or equipment not presently available in the Property. Renter will report any maintenance issues immediately to the Owner. The owner will make every effort to repair and/or replace any equipment that is not working properly but cannot guarantee that all equipment is in good operating order at all times and no rate adjustments or refund will be made for equipment or appliance failures.
8. CANCELLATIONS: The cancellation terms applicable to this reservation shall be governed by the policies of the platform through which the reservation was booked.
9. PARKING: Parking rules, designated areas, and instructions will be provided in your check-in details prior to arrival.

Renter and Owner, by signing this Rental Agreement, acknowledge that they will comply with the terms of this agreement, and each assumes the responsibility for the obligations set forth herein.
Renter acknowledges receipt of the House Rules.
Renter acknowledges that they have read, accept, and agree to the terms set forth.

CHECK OUT PROCEDURES:
1. CHECK-OUT NO LATER THAN 10am, unless otherwise discussed and approved.
2. All furniture should be returned to its original location.
3. Empty all overflowing trash in the garbage pails designated for this property (instructions will be provided)
4. Remove and dispose of all food items from the refrigerator and pantry/cabinets.
5. Place dishes, utensils, etc. in the dishwasher (if applicable) and turn it on when you depart.
6. Place all used towels in a pile on the bathroom floor and leave any used beds unmade. We’ll take care of the rest!
7. Put key(s) back in the lock box if you had to use them.

Space was excellent, the multiple bedrooms with the extra bathroom was great. Kitchen was stocked with utensils, bathrooms were clean, living space was comfortable and cozy.

We were supposed to check out at 10 AM, and everyone was still sleeping. But at 8 AM, very loud noises suddenly started. It felt like the whole roof was shaking and the house might fall down. We went outside and saw that workers were cleaning the roof. No one told us anything about this before. When we asked the cleaning manager, he said the landlord booked this cleaning two weeks ago, but we, the guests, were never informed. Also, our car was parked in the driveway, and the things falling from the roof could have hit our car at any time. There were no warnings or signs ahead at all. We only stayed here for one night, but the whole stay ended with stress and fear. This was very upsetting and unacceptable.

Home was very peaceful and serene, My Boys really enjoyed the relaxing and laid back vibe this stay had to offer. My kids did mention it would be a summer vacation stay, because of the creek in the back. Overall is was clean and accommodating. Host did their best for all my accommodation. I would give them a 5- Star White Glove on this. Thanks, Hope to revisit!

Wonderful stay! The property is within walking distance of the little downtown area & had driveway parking. It was clean & plenty spacious. Property owners had great communication! This is a property with 2 units, but we were not bothered by any extra noise.
