Immediately contacted both VRBO and the host asking for a refund. Stayed at hotel a few miles away. Three weeks later still no response from either VRBO or the host. "

"This was a nice property. The room overlooks the tiki bar and the ocean, (the pool is right next to the tiki bar. The big air conditioning units outside do make some noise, but not too bad. Unfortunately, the hotel next door was resurfacing the outside walls, so there was constant drilling noise which cut into the relaxation a bit. Note that you need a credit card to rent a chair and get food at the tiki bar (can't charge to room) You only show your room key to get towels. Workers very nice;...
