"We didn’t get off to the best start as arrived to find a notice on the pub door to say that there was no power and pub was shut! Had to call a number to book in, young man arrived and assured us that our rooms were unaffected and that breakfast would be provided in the morning. "What a lovely place to spend time on you travels! A lovely property set in a rural location, great facilities and an excellent bar/restaurant. The weather was fabulous that day so spent the evening in the lovely beer garden, but indoor dining rooms/spaces also looked good. The welcome was warm and efficient (I’d only booked a few hours before turning up) and the staff really made the stay very pleasant/comfortable. Definitely a place to stay if you’re in the area."

"Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. "Very convenient location, 9mins walk from station and 7mins walk to start of shopping area. Room was pleasant with lovely large bathroom. Clean bedlinen and comfortable bed.
