The Space:

This cherished stone home is filled with warmth and character. Guests will enjoy browsing our family library, complete with books, games, and movies, while the walls display smiling faces that tell our story. The spacious kitchen, inviting living room, and expansive covered deck have hosted countless gatherings, making it the ideal spot for creating your own memories in our slice of Almost Heaven.

For special occasions, consider renting our rustic log event venue, perfect for weddings, pig roasts, family reunions, and more. With ample parking available, accommodating both overnight guests and larger groups is a breeze. Plus, our unique kitchen amenities will make entertaining effortless!

Guest Access:

You’ll have full access to the property, with the exception of the caretakers' cottage and garage.

Eco-Tourism Commitment:

At Sweet Retreat, we care for Mother Earth. Our eco-friendly features include washable cleaning supplies, recycled plastic bags, refillable soap bottles, and an energy-efficient washing machine. Last summer, we added a composting area with instructions for guests who wish to participate. Don’t forget to check out my guidebook on local farmers' markets and eco-friendly businesses! There is an aluminum can crusher on the back deck and a designated trash can.
