"Cabin was exactly as pictured, very private and super clean. We stayed 4 nights and visited the NR Gorge which is spectacular to see. Make sure to go all the way to the bottom of the gorge where there is a small bridge you can walk across and the best place to photograph the actual bridge. We were also able to see people on rafts floating the river and going across the rapids. The cabin was in close proximity to Gauley Bridge, Ansted (lots of history + Cathedral waterfall), Hawk’s Nest park,...

"This was the perfect spot for our family while we visited New River Gorge National Park. The place was incredibly clean and stocked with everything we needed and more. With 2 adults, 4 kids, and a big dog, we had plenty of space and didn't feel crowded. The surrounding land was remote and peaceful with a little pond where the kids found baby frogs, and an epic tree swing. The hot tub and fire pit were so nice to use in the evenings. "We loved our weekend in the tree house. Perfect location for exploring the area. Kitchen was fully stocked and functional for the small space. Took advantage of the grill one evening but due to the heat we did not use the hot tub. Back deck is perfect spot for coffee & breakfast. The only downside was the distant road noise"

"The Sugar Shack was the perfect getaway spot for us. My husband and I wanted a quiet place where we could relax and enjoy nature. The Sugar Shack more than met our needs. "My adult kids and my husband and I spent the weekend hiking so it was nice to come back to the cabin to relax and eat a home cooked dinner. Perfect size for all of us. And close to many things yet the place was secluded. We saw deer in the backyard and the sunset view was gorgeous."

"Very nice cabin. Enjoyed the fire pit. Main areas were clean. Dead bugs on the windowsills were missed. Everything worked well except for the refrigerator was missing door shelves and the door wasn’t closing unless you pushed it closed using your entire body. Was told new one was in the way. I would come back."
