"Lovely apartment in Royal William yard, easy check in process. Lots of lovely eateries near by. The apartment is beautiful, the bed super comfy, the whole place warm and cosy. As in the description there are no curtains or blinds at the windows due to planning regulations - so if you're a light sleeper take an eye mask. The stairs up to be mezzanine bedroom are narrow and steep, not a problem for us but could potentially be difficult."

"The only reason for the lower condition rating is the visible mould around the master bedroom window which needs remediation. The new wooden wardrobe in that room is currently unusable due to a strong musty smell. Aside from this, the barn is beautifully presented with many thoughtful details. "Excellent location, next to a lovely park by the beach. Our room was spotless and we even had a little seating area outside our room. Lovely and quiet at night. Parking was the trickiest bit in terms of getting luggage to/from the car park (a 7-8 minute walk) but we'd only gone for a night so we were able to do it all in one go."

"We had a lovely night away at this peaceful treehouse & didn’t want to come back. We fully immersed ourselves in nature, enjoyed the peace & quiet of the secluded surroundings listening to all the wildlife. The treehouse is so cosy and the views from it were beautiful. The lake was also a beautiful setting to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening watching the sunset. We even enjoyed the use of the composted toilet & pretended we were on celebrity get me out of here. We highly recommend this...

"The RWY is a beautiful spot and you can easily take the ferry from there to Cremyll (Cornwall) or round to Barbican which opens up access to all the different ferries and tours. The apartment was really good but some things needs to be attended to, the dryer option on the washing machine kept error in out so all clothes had to be hung on the clothes rack to dry, not the end of the world but inconvenient. The oven door isn’t closing properly so lets a great deal of heat out and the extractor fan...

However, something could be better: the walls were stained, only three chairs but one was broken, washing machine was out of order, no wall clothes rack and few dishes and cutlery. "We only had one night at Rose Cottage however we wished we could have stayed longer. Beautifully furnished and more spacious than we imagined. Great to have 2 bathrooms too - real bonus. Kitchen and lounge areas were perfect. Beds were also really comfortable and we were amazed how quiet it was considering it was attached to other properties. All in all a real gem of a cottage in a really pretty village."
