"Beautiful property in lovely countryside. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities provided. The bar was well stocked and the food lovely, although a little pricey, especially the children’s meal! Breakfast was fab with a great choice and cooked to order so was piping hot on arrival. Went to Kielder winter wonderland so this was an ideal stay as only 10mins drive away. Would definitely recommend."

"Staff were really lovely and helpful. Room was very clean and quiet, and the hotel was perfectly situated in the centre of Hexham. The only issues were the very few parking spaces available, and the fact we could only park for up to 2hrs with a permit during the day, if there wasn’t any space in the tiny car park. But we loved the hotel itself and would recommend. "

"This tiny Inn is definitely worth a visit! The new owners were very friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable and very clean. The history of the building meant that the bar is tiny, but very welcoming - we spent a great evening drinking and chatting with locals. "I’ve stayed already 4 times. facilities are great, no denying. when they work… Pool was closed for 3 out of the 4 nights i was staying; when asking when it would reopen I was politely told to go and find it out myself (like staff is not interested to know and inform guests?!), and finally when remaining planet conscious I asked for room service every 2 days (middle of my stay) and they missed that too. dont know what happened this time, but this is how I felt leaving the hotel"
