"The property was immaculate! Was returning my daughter to college and we wanted to enjoy a nice mini-vacation by Raystown Lake for a few days before saying "goodbye." Michael was a superb host - he took our call when we first checked in, having some questions about a lighting unit in the upstairs bedroom and (yes, no joke) a local barbecue restaurant. Note: The home is a bit isolated, and not in downtown Huntingdon. Ergo - you are there for the lake, and hiking in the woods, and not the city....

"Absolutely beautiful and cozy place to stay. It is tucked away from noise, but is within a 10 minute drive to many restaurants and stores. The house was perfect for our getaway to Raystown (about 15 minutes) and Delgrossos (about 35 minutes). The host was wonderful and checked in with us on VRBO. The fire pit is a perfect place to make s'mores and to play corn hole. Everything was neat and clean. If we come back to Raystown, we would absolutely stay here again. "

"Remember going to camp as a kid? This location is exactly that- right by the lake, with a place to have a fire and relax. We were only able to stay 1 night but for big groups who are cool with a camp-like stay, it’s a great deal. FYI depending on your carrier the cellphone reception is minimal, which personally I think makes it even more like a no-cellphone camp atmosphere that I appreciate, but our teens of course struggled with that! Sweet back deck with a swing we enjoyed. "

"The home was gorgeous and very clean. Everything in the description was helpful and true. Our hostess, Dawn was very helpful in reminders and answering questions very quickly.
