"Weekend getaway with friends at the Weekie Wachee State Park. Residence was a short drive. This house was very clean with more than normal accommodations. Friendly neighborhood with a relaxing backyard to float in the water and watch the sun set. Great place to relax and recharge from a busy lifestyle. Highly recommended if you are visiting the Hernando Beach area."

"Really enjoyed staying here. The location was great! Food in the area is some of the best around as well. Having the boat on the dock and being able to just walk out back and be in the Gulf of America in minutes is fantastic. The pool is nice when you are tired and don’t feel like messing with the boat in order to be in the water. Pro tip: cover the windows in the kitchen with a blanket in the evening to keep the house and that area cooler. Be sure to spend some evenings on the dock or on the...

"Let me just say the only thing nicer than the home, view and atmosphere is the hosts. Awesome folks and so understanding of issues that may arise. Very accommodating and responsive to any and all messages. The home was open and very clean when we arrived. We had absolutley no issues to speak of. Weather wasn't always cooperative during our stay but we're from Florida so pretty used to it. The pool, hot tub dock and fishing areas were well maintained and we used them all the whole time there....

" Very clean - my friends kept saying this as we stay in rentals 2-3 times a year and this house was very clean. Host was very responsive to all inquiries. Enjoyed having kayaks available to use on the river and didn’t have to bring ours. The outdoor area was perfect with nice umbrellas and three loungers. The stairs to the bedrooms are steep - I suggest leaving suitcases downstairs. Thank you for allowing us to stay - had an excellent weekend. "

"It's a beautiful place. We would have liked to have rented a pontoon boat but we were concerned about getting it in and our of Mason Creek. We highly recommend this property - we loved the screened in pool/outdoor kitchen right on the beautiful creek. Our family loved this place. "

"This was a nice house for our annual scalloping family vacation. The kids throughly enjoyed the pool and the adults enjoyed endless hours of ping pong. Plenty of space for us and it is at a great location. 10/10 recommend "

"Bear Trail is a gorgeous property as well as perfectly located on the river. Our host Sonia was quick to respond to any questions that we had which made our stay even better. We really enjoyed the many kayaks and even rented a small boat to ride the river. We enjoyed staying here and will be booking another stay here soon. Thanks again Sonia!"
