Great Stay
The home was extremely clean. The property is private yet relatively close to attractions like Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park. We enjoyed our stay at the home and the kids loved seeing deer and turkey at the outside feeder each morning. If we visit South Dakota again, we would certainly book this property again.

All the way from New Jersey!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay in your beautiful home. Your place looks even better than the pics. The cabin was close to everything we wanted to do but, still secluded enough that we felt away from it all. We made breakfast every morning and dinners most evenings. The kitchen has it all. Don’t think twice about visiting this beautiful cabin! Thank you!

Had a good time. The cabin was secluded, quiet, and peaceful which is just what we were looking for. Saw some deer and quite a few turkeys. Great view from the balcony but our plan on our last evening to relax on the balcony was interrupted by a bad thunderstorm and lots of hail.

South Dakota Family Vacation
We had a wonderful experience with our stay. My wife and kids spent 4 nights here while vacationing in the Black Hills. Everything about the property was fantastic. The location was central to everything we wanted to visit. The cabin itself is wonderful. Plenty of space for the 4 of us, and turn-key from a check-in/check-out standpoint. The quiet more secluded location afforded us plenty of opportunities to see wildlife and the kids enjoyed hiking around exploring the property. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend to others looking for a home away from home while visiting the Black Hills.

Our family loved this stay. Perfectly centered to all of all the sites in South Dakota. Visited the national forests: Black Hills, Badlands, Windcave. Also visited Deadwood and the Mammoth Site. I would highly recommend.

Ultimate Blackhills Adventure
Beautiful clean cabin centrally located between Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Badlands, and Custer State Park. There is few mile gravel road to the cabin in case you aren't used to that. Peaceful place, and I highly recommend. Our kids loved the loft!

SD vacation
We had a wonderful time exploring South Dakota. This log cabin is beautiful and very clean. It had everything we needed (including lots of deer on the property). It was a great location to all the sights we explored (Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Badlands, Keystone, Deadwood, Custer State Park, Wind Cave, Devil's Tower, etc.) The Black Hills are beautiful and we are so thankful we had such a wonderful place to come back to after exploring all day.

30th Anniversary Trip
We did our research before we booked this Vrbo for our 30th wedding anniversary trip to the Black Hills. This property checks all the boxes! Seclusion, beauty, wildlife to watch and enjoy, plus all the amenities you would expect. We had our teenage daughter with us, and she had the entire loft to herself. There was even plenty of WiFi to plan our schedules and check out details for places we planned to visit. If you are looking for a cabin to relax in after your daily adventures taking in the absolute beauty of this area, this is the one. The owners were amazing, quick to respond to any questions, and it truly felt more like staying at a friend's house. This is the way a Vrbo should be.

Living the Dream in South Dakota
More than we expected, Turkey, deer, great view. The property was quiet, relaxing and good proximity. The road is unpaved, but is as good as a paved road, well maintained. Nice having the living spaces, worked well for 2 families. My husband is a contractor and really appreciated the craftsmanship of the log cabin.

Wonderful Log Cabin
We enjoyed our 8-night stay at this great cabin in the pines. The views were wonderful from every window and on the decks. It was a treat to see deer, turkeys, birds, etc. visit the cabin every morning and evening. It was secluded enough for privacy and yet close to many of the Black Hills attractions. The cabin was fully equipped inside and out (nice gas grill) for our stay. We were sorry to have to leave and look forward to rebooking when we return to the Black Hills area.

Beyond impressed with this property and these hosts
This was our first time using VRBO, and we couldn't have more kind and wonderful things to say about this property and these hosts. The place was immaculate and stunning. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The views were breathtaking. The wildlife walking up to the corn feeder, I mean... can you ask for more? But wait! There's more! Gas grill worked perfectly. The kitchen was easy to use and served all of our needs. The kitchen table was comfortable and inviting. The bathrooms were great. The washer and dryer were insanely handy. The back deck overlooking the Ghost Canyon. The stars. Wow, the stars. The internet worked very well. We streamed movies at night, and even worked a bit from a laptop early in the mornings. The sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. And to top it off, the hosts were beyond kind and considerate. Nearly immediate response via text to any questions or comments. We used everything this wonderful log home had to offer, top to bottom, and we will absolutely be staying here again in the future. Oh! And don't forget to play the Ulalov behind the master bed. It's beautiful, and very calming. Who has a Ulalov? Anyways. 6 stars to this place and these people. Thank you!!

Great cabin in the woods!
Immaculate cabin, looks and feels brand new, super clean. Great launching point for the Badlands, Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, etc. We went to Devil's Tower and were joking about seeing UFO's and sky/stars were so clear at night we saw line of lights in the sky 2 nights in a row and later figured out it was the starlink satellites, beautiful views!

Quiet Retreat For Nature Lovers
A beautiful and quiet place surrounded by beautiful trees and wildlife, yet still close to just about anything you want to see or do in South Dakota. The deer and turkeys greet you every morning and evening, and there are two porches/decks to watch them from. No frills, but beautiful and comfortable. Just what you need if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Fantastic Family Cabin
We loved the location of this property. Very clean and beautiful view from the porch. So quiet and peaceful! Kids loved watching the turkey and deer each day. Perfect place to stay while visiting all the surrounding parks and towns. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

We loved this property. It was so clean and the kitchen was great. It was a good spot for us to leave each day and visit many sites in this area (Custer State Park, Needles Hwy, Mt. Rushmore, Wind Cave, Jewel, Cave etc.). The binder in the cabin from the hosts was so helpful!

Close enough to everything but the seclusion you desire.
Everything described about this property, including photos, is 100% accurate. The property was very clean and accommodated 4 adults and teen very easily. 6 wouldn't have been a problem! The location is great. Centrally located between the main attractions. Very private location with excellent views and the stars....Wow! Would stay again.

Black Hills Getaway
Beautiful, quiet and safe vacation cabin that is rustic luxury. Located close to all sites of interest in Black Hills, South Dakota and the surrounding area, including the Badlands, South Dakota and Devil's Tower Monument, Wyoming. Set in nature with daily visits from wildlife, especially deer and turkey! Our family loved our stay and highly recommends this cabin.

Perfect Family Vacation
The property was beautiful and very well maintained. The location was ideal for visiting all area attractions including Mount Rushmore, the Badlands and Custer State Park. It was excellent for star gazing, too. We also enjoyed the local wildlife while arriving back to the cabin each day. Outstanding experience!

recommendations
the only thing is we felt there should be more items in the kitchen, small frying pan, teaspoons. Also there was only two wash cloths. I would definitely recommend this home to my friends.

Perfect Mt. Rushmore location
This property is everything that was in listing. The deer and turkey come up to feeder, see them from the cabin windows or porch. This is very secluded and it is phenomenal as pictures show. Yes it is on very well maintained non paved roads. It is limited on dishes and utensils (we just ran dishwasher after each meal). Perfectly clean, thru out !!!!! We have stayed in many VRBO's and this was the best!!!! It was perfect for two couples. the lower level had it 's own living space, as pictured. ROKU worked great and Wifi.

Cody really thought of everything. The cabin was beautiful, relaxing, and convenient location-wise. The kids loved sleeping and playing up in the loft. It was a really great time! It was an easy drive to all the sights in the Black Hills. We loved seeing the wild life feeding in the yard. A great example of the details that went in to providing a great stay is outside lighting. When pulling in at night from a long day exploring, the garage lights illuminated allowing you to see. It is pretty dark at the cabin. It’s the little things like this that made the stay enjoyable! Thanks Cody!

Gorgeous cabin and location!
The cabin was perfect for our family's trip to SD. We were 20-30 minutes drive to Keystone, Custer State Park and access to gas & grocery wasn't too far either! Check out Pop's Grocery Shoppe to stock up for your stay. Every day we saw deer and turkeys in the yard and on our drives down the road. Just absolutely gorgeous and we'd stay again! (We all slept really good too!)

Wonderful cabin in an amazing location!
The property was excellent - spotless and well appointed with everything we needed and more! The location was wonderful as well. It was close to the tourist locations but it was far enough away for us to really relax in the peace and quiet of the forest. The owner was incredibly informative and very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this place!
