Experience SD country in a new 3,000 square foot home on 22 acres close to Mt Rushmore & Custer State Park. Enjoy a quiet get away with your family/friends in a peaceful setting with amazing views of the black hills including Mount Rushmore lit up in the distance at night. Watch horses, deer, and even fox roam the countryside. Step out onto the deck at dusk and watch the sunset light up the Rushmore Mountain Range. 15 mins south of Rapid City. Amenities of a smaller town 5 mins away.

Family Vacay

We loved the location of the property, communication from the property manager, and all the amenities that came with the house. Although the house wasn't spotless, it was clean enough to feel comfortable. We had a party of 10 (4 adults, 6 kids) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The location was great - fairly centralized to everything we wanted to see/do. We would stay here again.

9 of us spent 9 days at Clint’s home and had a wonderful time. Clint was very responsive to any questions or requests we had and was a pleasure to deal with.Will definitely stay there again the next time we visit the Black Hills.
View from back deck, beautiful sunsets every night! Almost always deer in view.

Wonderful and peaceful property

Very nice home, lots of bedrooms for our group. Very peaceful sitting on the back deck with the gas fire pit going. I would stay there again.

In the middle of everything

We loved that this place is out in the country not to far from all the tourism sites that we went to! Clint was an amazing host! He left feed for his horse which was our girls favorite thing to do in the mornings! House was very accommodating to our needs! The view in the morning and at night were breathtaking! If we ever come back up to stay we would love to stay here again!

Clint was very responsive to any of our needs. The best part was Bently the horse. He was a true sweetheart and I miss feeding him every morning. The location was great and the place was very peaceful.

Nice house, peaceful surroundings, beautiful view

The house is spacious to accommodate 10 people comfortably. It offers many amenities throughout. It is located on a hill with beautiful view of the Black Hills in the distance while relaxing on the large back deck. Not being familiar with this type of accommodations, I was amused that the personal belongings of the owners filled the closets and cupboards, with some space to store our own clothes, food and kitchen items. But the refrigerator was large and empty for our food. Nice. The owner was friendly, available, and helpful. Be prepared to drive on a dusty, gravel road a little way to get to this beautiful spot. The positives outweigh any negatives. I would stay there again!

Beautiful Place

Clint was helpful and his communication was on point and was very fast to respond. Our family loved the property and loved loved the back yard view!! Clint is friendly and also allowed my nephews feed his house Bentley!! My nephew literally talks about Bentley and whenever we see a horse he calls them Bentley!! Thanks for being so welcoming. The location is great and close to everything that we did, the farthest we went out was about 40mins but other than that Walmart is about 15mins away and small stores and gas station is about 7-8minutes away. This place was very convenient to our family. Thanks Clint for allowing us to your beautiful place!! Would definitely book again.

Remote but not...

A beautiful home that from the views seems very remote. But very close to Hermosa, and a short 15- minute drive to Rapid City. Clint was an excellent host and communicated very well. Overall, exceptional stay with family. Would absolutely stay there again.

Turner Family Retirement Party for Mom and Dad

This property was ideal for our family. We all came from FL and SC, to be together and visit all SD has to offer. This property is perfectly located to go to all the sights that were on our list, but quiet enough to enjoy our special family time together. The host was kind enough to cater to our three grandchildren, let them feed his friendly horse , then the day before we left, he allowed them to ride the horse...what a treat. The place was clean and roomy enough for the 10 of us. When you travel in todays world, it is a bit frightening of what you might encounter, going to this beautiful state and feeling welcome and safe in this beautiful home with warmth and obvious Christianity. Thankfully that still exist in this country

The property is along a rough dirt road in the countryside with a great view. The home was very clean and nice. There was good communication and check in was easy. Overall, it was a great stay!

Beautiful country property! House was clean and fit our group of 10 perfectly. Close enough to Mt Rushmore for us and a pretty 35 min drive getting there. Clint was easy to communicate with. Great spot.

Beautiful

Our stay in South Dakota was brief but his home made it feel like a nice long stay. The property is located in a perfect spot to base a visit to so many national parks and attractions. We can't wait to go back!

Quick overnight stay

We needed a quick place for a large family to stay last minute while traveling back from Yellowstone. The owner was quick to respond and gave great directions and details. Got there just in time for sunset, beautiful!!!! Bring binoculars for seeing Mount Rushmore.
