"We had such a lovely stay here. It was very tranquil peaceful and the hosts were just spectacular. All the little details that these guys add make such a big difference and let me tell you that breakfast that they make, is absolutely delicious. We took our infant, who is only nine months old and our puppy, and they made a little puppy plate and a little plate for our boy. We had such a lovely day and created some fantastic memories and hope to be back. We cannot thank these hosts enough. "

"Such an incredible little property. The view is incredible and the pictures on the listing don't do it justice, it's definitely a million dollar view. Doug and Jan were great hosts and included so many extra amenities and thoughtful touches like snacks and drinks which was so sweet. Hot tub was fabulous and while it's a drive to town, it's worth it for a one of a kind stay. "

"What an amazing cabin! Loved every minute. Wild blackberries growing right outside the door, super comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, a bbq and the longest bathtub in the history of the world. Our hosts were excellent and offered many ideas of great places to visit. Can’t wait to come back!"

"Berta and Ken could not have been better hosts, and I'm a fairly high-needs guest! Loved the whole place.One night the neighbours directly facing my suite, who were sometimes quite loud in the day, had a loud, long , late party inside, which included shrieks and raucous laughter bursting out their windows. I am highly sensitive to noise, so I just went inside and enjoyed myself in my lovely place.And Ken, thanks again for your delicious fresh produce!!! You were both SO kind to me. "

"Just like it says it's a 100 year old cottage with a games room and plenty of space for my 3 kids. The kids stayed in the upper floor - note there are steeper than normal steps leading upstairs but my boys didn't mind. Plenty of attention to details throughout the house with all of modern comforts of home. Good central location close to Nanaimo for all of your day trips."

"LF Guesthouse had everything that we needed to make our stay in Nanaimo memorable. The house was sparkling clean. We loved the location as it was a 12 min walk to Long Lake where we explored one evening. The backyard was very spacious but we spent most of our time there inside. "The location and area are wonderful. The property COULD be a gem, but it is in terrible disrepair. The house inside, while perhaps not outfitted for people who cook a lot, is decent. But when we checked in, the exterior was a shambles.
