"The room was wonderful - the view over the river just subli e. Tina could not have been more helpful and made us feel very welcome and looked after.
Location fantastic for walking and seeing many interesting bits and pieces in the area.
We loved our picnic on the lawn next to river watching the free bird show!"

"Owners were very pleasant, helpful and informative. Accommodation is not suitable for physically impaired people: two flight of stairs. While the room, apart from the overhead oak beams, in general was a bit tired, the bedding was very clean and comfortable and the tea/coffee facilities in good supply, as was breakfast. WiFi good reception.
Externally: Ample parking space while the garden areas are in need of some TLC."

"Great location. Lovely rooms as I’ve stayed in the hotel many times. Comfortable and clean. Gorgeous toiletries to use. Small car park but parking near by if you can’t park at the hotel but I’ve only had this issue once or twice. Highly recommended hotel"

"Great stay. A little hot, but it’s not the hosts fault. The fan was helpful and after about 11 PM it became a very pleasant sleep.
I loved the contactless entry. The host emailed me all the details several days in advance which was nice and all I needed to access the room was a code.
The room itself is very nice. The bathroom is the highlight. If I could change one thing it would be the motion sensing lights. Every time one of us got up to use the bathroom the light stayed on for a while. A...

"Extremely peaceful hotel especially as so close to the town (which was a pleasant stroll past the river and castle). Clean rooms, and friendly staff. Really good breakfast, dinner could have been better as the lasagne was bland.
Overall, a really enjoyable stay and would return."

"Following a warm welcome by the staff, we were taken to our room which included all necessities for an overnight stay. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was cooked fresh to order and sufficient to last most of the day. The pub is located in a small quiet village with a walk to the River Avon close by. Thanks to all staff who made our stay good. We will be back."
