"Great location and perfect for a get together, meeting family half way between where we live!"

"Had a fantastic week staying here with our party of 6. Plenty of room for everyone to get comfy and a fantastic game area in the garage/first floor. Each evening we were able to relax out on the wrap around patio overlooking the river. The property was well equipped to make our stay comfortable and the communication with the host was excellent. Thank you for having us. "

"I liked everything about the property. Especially that most everything was within walking distance. The room was spacious, and very clean. I liked that there were snacks, and a small kitchenette. They had everything that you would need, stored away, in case you forget something on your trip. Mike and Jill were very nice, and i will definetely stay with them again the next time i go see my kids. 😁"

"This is our second time staying at the Manor House. It was every bit as good as the first stay. The house is roomy, lots of space for all of us to sit around and chat, and a big table for card games. The kitchen has every pot, pan, bowl, plate, glass, etc. you could ever need. The house is in a very quiet wooded area yet not too far from shopping, restaurants, etc. We'll be back. "

"We wanted to get away for a couple days to see fall colors and hike near Starved Rock. This little house in the small town of DePue IL perfectly met our expectations. We had a great time looking at all the interesting decorations. While in DePue be sure to get a pork tenderloin at Casford’s Crossing!"

"Would go again "

"A bit unsure of the location of our tent as there was no one in the cabin at the property. The lady mowing the grass gave us the directions. As the grass was freshly cut it was impossible not to track it into the tent. The amenities in the tent were well thought out and we loved the colors. Enjoyed the outdoors, birds and rain storm that passed through. "
