Enjoy a peaceful and private lakefront home perfect for gathering with extended family and friends! Home is located in an established neighborhood. Keyless, contactless check-in and entry are provided for all guests.
All bedrooms have their own bathroom and TV!
9 Adults max, please. 12 total individuals max including children.
Linens and towels are provided; beds are made prior to your arrival- more time for you to relax and enjoy vacation!

Main Floor:
Living Room with a large floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace opens to the well-stocked kitchen and pantry. Family games/ cards are located in the built-ins.
Formal dining room seats 10, kitchen dining table seats 8.
Master Suite: King bed, private en suite, and spiral staircase leading to private second-floor office/ loft with additional lake views
Large laundry room with washer, dryer, sink, extra fridge/freezer, pantry.
Screened porch with lake views, plenty of seating, and TV.

Second Floor:
Bedroom 2: King bed plus private bathroom
Bedroom 3: King bed plus private bathroom

Basement:
Bedroom 4: 3 sets of bunk beds (twin over full) and foosball table! Adjacent full bathroom.
Large entertainment room with a pool table, bar, darts, TV, and movies. Walk-out basement with abundant lake views.

Three fridge/ freezers (main kitchen, laundry room, and basement) provide plenty of room for food to feed everyone!

Many locations to hang out and unwind including the screened porch, covered patio, back deck, outdoor grill/ dining area, and large dock.

The gently sloping lot provides an easy walk to the double boathouse with room to dock your boat! Easy access to main lake with no tunnels or bridges to navigate. You are welcome to use our kayaks and SUP! Bring a life jacket, but we have a few available as well. The boathouse is stocked with fishing rods and a small fridge for your drinks or bait. The kids will love the slide into 6+ feet deep water at the end of the dock!
Bluetooth and speakers are installed on the dock to enjoy your music.

Summer rentals are Saturday to Saturday only, please.
Starter TP, PT, laundry, and dishwashing detergent provided.

Food Lion is 13 minutes away.
Washburn's Marina is 3 miles away.

9 adults max, 12 total individuals including children, please.
Please review the Rental Agreement prior to booking. We are happy to welcome guests who will treat our home and neighbors with the same care and respect we do!

Amazing home and lake vacation from start to finish! Never have we ever stayed in a house so well appointed and so well stocked. It made our stay with young kids such a breeze! From spices to towels to basic cleaners, it was all there and at our disposal. The fishing poles, life jackets, kayaks and pedal boat were all wonderful and added a lot to our experience! We have found our new lake house rental!! Natalie (and John!) were so above and beyond what you'd expect in hosts! We'll be returning for years to come! Thank you both!!

We had another excellent experience at Natalie & John’s beautiful home — our 3rd summer in a row enjoying their hospitality. The location is ideal, with a quiet waterfront for the kids to enjoy but close proximity to the main body of the lake. The house is beautifully maintained, and the boathouse with its two slips and boat lifts is a big plus. A great spot for families and friends to relax and enjoy vacation time together.

Lake Gaston Paradise

We are Ohioans who seek lake life for our yearly vacation. We have been to Deep Creek (x2), Smith Mountain and Lake Norman (x2) over the past several years. This house on Lake Gaston provided our best experience, by far. The house is great, the dock is fantastic and Lake Gaston is the best we have been to. Communication with Natalie was on point, check in was easy and house was very clean. Property is well kept and the owners go above and beyond when it comes to making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Under-counter ICE MAKER (that works) is all I need to say. All other appliances and amenities are top notch and available for use. Beds were super comfortable and bathrooms clean, spacious and in perfect working order.If I was forced to find one thing that wasnt perfect it would be the basement entertainment seating. The home has a massive flat screen in the lower level, but only seating for four. We made it work and in no way does it diminish my rating of this house on Lake Gaston.11 out of 10. No way you are disappointed if you stay here.

Annual Family Vacay

This home fits our family so well. This is our second year staying in this lovely home for our annual family vacation. The home is equipped and stocked better than any home we have stayed at in the past. Our grandkids loved the slide and float mat. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Beautiful Well Maintained Home

We enjoyed another wonderful stay. Natalie and Jon are terrific hosts and offer terrific amenities both within the home and at the waterfront. It’s a quiet and picturesque area of the lake, but also affords easy access to the main body of Lake Gaston. Highly recommended!

Great Location and lovely property

The location is perfect just off the main lake. The kids loved the water slide and jumping off the dock. The host provided a number of kayaks that could be used in the quiet waters of the cove. There was also a paddle boat which had seen better days but was still lake worthy enough to make it around the nearby island. Loved sitting on the porch just watching the world go by. The basement entertainment room was used by all but the bar area could do with some glasses to save running up and down stairs. The entertainment area is also right next to the kids bunk room so having little kids that needed an early night could subdue activities. We would definitely go back.

Annual family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this home for our annual family vacation. We usually look for a site with some sandy beach for our young grandchildren, but they are hard to find. I noticed all the decking and the slide at the water on this property. It turned out to be a wonderful find!! We loved having some depth to the water for swimming off the dock. The bunk room worked great for our grandkids, the master suite on the main level for us and the two bedrooms with their own bathrooms upstairs for our adult children. Home was very well stocked both inside and out and we loved that bed linens and bath towels were included! This is the fifth year we've vacationed at Lake Gaston and this property fit us so well. The location is great. Truly one of the best!!!

A Welcoming & Peaceful Place For Families

Our group of family & friends (4 adults, 5 children) found Natalie's home to be idyllic -- a peaceful corner of Lake Gaston shaded by soaring pines offering terrific areas for swimming, boating and fishing together. The property and home itself offered just as many wonderful amenities (the game room, the kitchen, the bedrooms, etc.), but what really struck us was the attention to detail invested by Natalie and John. They are outstanding hosts who go the extra mile to ensure their property feels more like a lake home than simply a lake house.

Family week of fun!

I can’t say enough about this house. There were so many activities to do. The owner thoughtfully provided everything for the family to do together from fishing, different types of boats, floats, different places for the family to gather, etc. The kitchen is well stocked and the owner is very responsive. Her neighbors are lovely as well. The house is located in a beautiful location. I highly recommend renting a boat and making a trip to goat island. The only con is it makes you never want to go home because you’re having so much fun :)

Just heaven on Lake Gaston

Our family has been convening every two summers for the past 10 years. This rental is by far the best we have ever had. So much so that on Friday night before leaving, the six adults had a discussion about “what can we do in two years to top this?” We chose this house because of its layout, amenities, vicinity, and the written/pictorial description. This rental fit ALL of our expectations: three floors (one each for kids, parents, and grandparents). A rec center on the lower floor with a pool table, infinity table, and TV – plus three bunk beds for the four kids. Marvelous open space on the main floor with a kitchen area with two ovens, two fridges, microwave, ice maker, dishes-pots-pans-ovenware galore, etc, etc, etc; and a Master Suite to “die for”—King bed, staircase to an office, and a Jacuzzi. Finally, two ensuite bedrooms on the upper level. Outside there are levels of enjoyment from the gas grill and picnic table, hot tub, fire pit, and the dock with a slide!! A full dock level closet for life jackets and minifridge, fire table, and seating round out the area. OH – and we cannot forget the 2 paddleboards, 5 kayaks (large and small), and the pedalboat (which we did not use). You will not be disappointed to rent this house. The owners were responsive by text and just a joy to work with.

Great Stay at LKG

Our stay was amazing, the house had all the amenities and then some. Multiple zones where fun could be had by many, gameroom, dock, fire pit, sunroom, porch. Etc. The cove is wide and access to the house was easy from the boat ramp. Fishing was great from the dock. It was a great time had by all.

Perfect vacation home!

This house was absolutely beautiful! There were 7 adults and we all agreed that it was the most relaxing vacation we have spent together (and we’ve spent quite a few). Everything was immaculate and there was not one necessity or luxury item that was missing! The view of the gorgeous lake from the porch was incredible! We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boating and fishing during the day and lit fires in pit at night and shared many laughs! Thanks Natalie for an amazing 5 days! Highly recommend!!!!😁

Wonderful Stay at Lake Gaston

Wow, everything about this stay was exceptional. We celebrated an anniversary at this house and could not have been more pleased. The property itself was very well-situated on beautiful Lake Gaston, and we had the additional benefit of seeing some fall colors given the time of year. The view of the lake was postcard perfect. The house itself was even more impressive than in the VRBO photos. We enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen which was stocked with everything you can think of needed to prepare a memorable meal. The outdoor patio, deck and boat dock offered so many vantage points inside and outside where we could enjoy a good book or simply take in the view of the pristine lake. The gas fire pit on the dock was a perfect spot for a cocktail as the sun was setting. The appliances, cookware, and the 2 high-quality grills made meal preparation a pleasure - important as the local restaurant choices are pretty limited in this area. The kayaks got plenty of use, as did the hot tub, which was a good thing as the temperatures in the evening got quite cool during our stay. Natalie was such a terrific host - so responsive and clear in her communications, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Not only did she provide a generous welcome gift upon our arrival, she was mindful of every detail and extra amenity that could improve our stay. The house was fully stocked with everything needed for travelers coming from far and wide - we never needed to make that extra unplanned run to the store for something we forgot or didn't think of. Instead, we found that Natalie had already anticipated the need and had already provided! We really were in need of nothing during our entire 2-week stay - the house had everything we could have wanted. We hope we have the opportunity to return soon, and would recommend this property to anyone considering some downtime at the lake.

Don't book this house so that it's always available for us!

Beautiful lake house in an amazing location. The property owners communicated flawlessly with us and made sure that we had all questions and concerns addressed. From the initial booking throughout our stay the owners stayed in touch as needed, within an hour or less. The house was clean, not vacation rental clean but clean to our standards and we are neat picky and clean. The house is amazing from the expansive driveway to the front door through the inside with amazing lake views from almost every room. It basically has three master suites with a bunk room on the lake level. This is no ordinary bunk room with standard bunk beds either. The children aged 8, 9 and 14 all slept in their own massive bunks together with a fooz ball table in their room that they loved. I promise you that the pictures do not do this home any justice. It's way better than the photos. All of it! One of the two fire pits was a huge hit every evening with smores and the family sitting around the fire enjoying the incredible lake views. At the waterfront is expansive decking, dock and boathouse with a waterslide that has a water source at the top of the slide to make the slide into the lake a real thrill for the kids. The boathouse shed is full of life vests, fishing poles and all the gear needed for the standup paddle board and kayaks. The kids were either going down the slide, jumping off the dock or out on the paddle board or kayak all day long. The were so wiped out after the nightly fore every evening that they didn't even notice the nice TV set up in the bunk room. The boat house also has four separate lifts. One for a pontoon boat, one for a v hull and two lifts for jet skis. We used the pontoon lift and jet ski lift and all were in great working order. Have I mentioned the amazing lake views from the house and many decks with adirondak chairs, swings and rockers? Wake up in the morning and sit on the top level deck and watch the light fog roll off the lake. As amazing as the inside of the house is with a perfectly equipped kitchen with everything that you needed we were outside almost all of our waking hours. I did not take the time to describe everything that we loved about this home because there is simply too much to cover. A real family memory was made here that none of us will ever forget. I don't usually take the time to write reviews but this house and the owners deserve it. This lake home is worth it.

Great space and awesome owner!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is a great house with so many spaces to accommodate a large family with friends. Natalie, the owner, was great! She was very responsive and offered so many extra details that made our stay so easy and pleasant. She went above and beyond to make sure we knew where everything was located on the property and what needed to be done for check out. We didn’t need to go in search for anything! She even gave local recommendations for restaurants, entertainment, businesses, etc. We highly recommend this property and it’s owner and look forward to returning for another family vacation!

Awesome lake house experience

Natalie's lake house is incredible. The house, the decks, the yard, the dock and the water are all within talking distance. If you are looking for a place for three families with kids this is ideal. There are three grown up bedrooms with king size beds and one big bunk room downstairs for the kids. Everything is as described and as it looks in the pictures. Couldn't ask for more.

The property was everything and more the advertised. The owners were great and very helpful.

Amazing. Would highly recommend this property for wonderful family summer vacation.
