The Space:
Our home is on 7 spacious acres with beautiful mountain views in the heart of Apple Valley. We are conveniently located within a short drive to Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Asheville, and much more. Hendersonville boasts several wineries, cideries, breweries, orchards, and charming shopping options downtown. For the outdoor lovers, enjoy hiking, mountain biking, white water rafting, and much more. Come experience the beauty of Apple Valley Chateau in the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains.

Enjoy privacy but within a short drive of everything you would need. So many outdoor things to enjoy in the area.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to all rooms and closets.

The Neighborhood:
This home is sweetly and conveniently located in Apple Valley in Hendersonville. The local orchards we are nestled in provide beauty and seasonal entertainment. The large assortment of local wineries, cideries, and breweries are open year around.

Getting Around:
Plan on driving your own vehicles. Getting share rides to take you to the home is not difficult. However, getting a driver to pick you up at the house for excursions is difficult.

The roads are easy to drive. The driveway is steep but completely paved and there is room to turn your car around up top before driving back down.

Other Things to Note:
Because you get the experience of seclusion with nature, you may see bugs in the home. We do have a pest control service but the occasional bug is unavoidable. Keeping doors shut as much as possible will help.

Pics do not do this beautiful house and property justice! It was amazing! The only complaint we have is the water pressure. We were excited to have 4 bathrooms with our large family, but unfortunately, you could only run or use one thing at a time or the water pressure went down to a trickle. Everything else exceeded expectations and we fell in love with it instantly!

Nice stay and we ended up spending a lot of time indoor due to closures of most of the popular hikes and drives in area due to hurricane damage. We cooked family meals and used the basement and pool table daily ! We found some games and puzzles on our last day in the drawers and enjoyed those too! The kids loved the play room! We wished for a fire pit , the fireplace was nice but didnā€™t give us the same vibe and wished for a gas grill on the back porch so grilling would not be so far from family. The host was nice enough to get some platters and pots delivered to us when we couldnā€™t find lids for pots and got the internet fixed when it went out within a few hours ! Good place to be disconnected or connected however you decide to spend your day !

Spectacular property. Beautifully furnished, great mattresses! They had everything we needed for a family of 13. Play room loft for the little kids was special bonus. Game room downstairs kept the big ā€œkidsā€ happy. It has a remote feel, but close to everything we wanted or needed. Highly recommend.

Four generations stayed for our daughter's wedding in Asheville; everyone thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the visit and home. We had adequate room to gather, and for privacy, and it was very comfortable. It was the perfect location for our gathering and we are so grateful for having such a beautiful space to celebrate together for a wonderful event.

This house was great for our family. Nice place to relax and just a quick drive to nearby Asheville. Our family had plenty of room and enjoyed the games, puzzles and pool table. The little ones enjoyed the upstairs play area too. Great place!

Me, My children and grandchildren get together every 4th of July week for a family time. We have done this ever since my husband passed away. The kids all live in different locations so this time together is spent sitting and talking l, playing games, and hiking. This house was PERFECT for such an event! I highly recommend this home!!!

The day we were leaving the owner called to say the property was double booked. After moving some other people she did provide us with another house. After arriving and unpacking we discovered there wasn't any water. I called a person who was supposed to help with problems. They sent a handy man started work of the pump for the well. We thought it would be fixed shortly. We bought groceries only to discover that the well was not fixed. We had to spend the night in a house with no water. VBRO would not help us because we were not in the original house. The owner called VBRO and received different instructions then what we were told. We ended up going to the first house to shower and sleep that night. We had to be out by ten because the other party was arriving., keep our food in the 2nd house, get the owner to cancel our first contract so we could rent a third house. The well needed a part not readily available. The owner did refund our money and allowed us to keep our food in the 2nd house as the 3rd house was not available until 4 PM. VRBO did nothing to help in the situation and a crisis team that was supposed to call us never did.

Our multi-family vacation was wonderful at this property. We had 6 adults, 10 children, and had plenty of space. There were multiple play spaces for the children, and plenty of space to spread out. The home was beautiful, and exceeded expectations. This is a wonderful home to book for a family vacation.

The property was stunning! The view off the front porch was one we didn't want to leave and took every opportunity to enjoy! The rooms were spacious and our group of 15 had more than enough sleeping options. The kitchen was very well equipped and allowed us to prepare family meals and with room for everyone. The outdoor patio was enjoyed very much on a wet soggy evening in front of the fireplace. Communication with the host (Sarah) was very timely and productive. We can't wait to come back !! Celebrated my 50th birthday with family. 9 adults 7 kids. Plenty of room. The house and property were beautiful. Everyone loved it there and loved the views. The coffee bar was a big hit. Hope to stay again.

We booked Apple Valley Chateau for our extended family of 14. The property was clean and exactly as pictured. There was plenty of space for eveyone. The extra amenities such as soap, toilet paper, shampoo, and such was very much appreciated. We had plenty of dishes and cooking utensils so we ate all our meals at the house. Sarah was quick to respond to my calls/texts and checked in to be sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We found a very lovely home that had a view of the mountains which was what we wanted. I was very happy about the condition of the property. I was afraid it would be worn looking because it was rented to families which hard on property. We loved our stay. My only recommendation would be to add a hand rail right under the mirror on the downstairs. It would have made an old lady feel more comfortable entering the stairs because there is not much of a landing.

The house is located on a picturesque hillside in Apple Valley and was extremely easy to locate. With amazing views for miles and plenty of spacious rooms, our family enjoyed our first reunion ever with everyone present. The 5, 6, and 9 year olds loved the playroom in the loft while everyone else took advantage of the front porch, back decks and relaxing living spaces. Our first morning there we spotted a black bear in the front yard. What a treat! We had some rain during our stay, but the result was a stunning double rainbow over the mountains directly in front of the house. Our family played golf, gem mined, had a epic ping pong tournament and hula hoop contest, did a Lake Lure boat tour, visited the Flowering Bridge, picnicked and hiked at Chimney Rock. Grandma, Grandpa and the little ones visited the colorful bears in Hendersonville, had lunch at Hotdog World and ice cream at Harry and Piggyā€™s while the rest of our group were horseback riding in Pisgah Forest. Our youngest ones were thrilled by the Fairy Garden at Burlington Gardens which was very close by. Sarah answered all my questions both before and during our stay and was easy to contact. We will definitely refer friends and family to this stunning and comfortable home and hope to return again ourselves. Thank you, Sarah.

We had 2 grandparents and 3/3 children/spouses for a total of 8 adults; 13 yo teenager, 4 from 4ā€“11 and 3 under 2. House had a great playroom in the loft. Fun room for adults to older kids in basement. Kitchen well stocked on a beautiful piece of land.

This house is beautiful , pictures don't do justice. Big enough for a large family like ours or up to two or three small families. Location is perfect , only 15 mins drive to Hendersonville and 35/40 mins to Asheville, close enough to restaurants and supermarkets and far enough to enjoy mountain life. Three vineyards at 10/15 mins away , all with nice views and of course good wines that I was surprised. 30 mins from Red Stag Grill , the best restaurant in town. 40 mins from Biltmore Estates. We had so much fun that we are thinking to go back , hope soon. Absolutely recommended !
