"A little slice of heaven, next door to the Promised Land. We were in the area to visit Pa. State Parks and stayed here two nights. My wife found Rex Hotel online and she really relies on the reviews of past guests. With this receiving so many positive ratings we went for it. The no contact check-in and out was new for us, but no issues arose at all. In fact, everything went so smoothly it would be nice if others used this method. "Our large group had a great time at Green Gables. Communications with our hosts were prompt and efficient. The home is beautiful and was more than enough room for our 20 group. We were able to prepare meals everyday in the kitchen, there was more than enough room especially with 4 people cooking. The table was way bigger than the picture made it seem. We were able to fit a large amount of us during meals and playing games. Our group was skeptical about the bathroom situation, but the 5 bathrooms...

"We stayed for two weeks in this quaint home. The first week was characterized by rain, rain, rain, but we needed rest, rest, rest, so we made a fire (it was actually chilly) and ventured out only for food. The area food choices are AWESOME! If you drew a 20 mile circle around the area, you’d be amazed at the quality of food choices available. We hiked in the area, visited Bushkill Falls, and met kind folks all over the area. We had a very nice time. "

"My family and I love this place because the creek we love the river and the water the and Mr Harris is a wonderful person. The house needs some improvement like new beds and bathroom mats and downstairs bathroom needs a new lock. My family and I we love to stay there it's very safe, so if you love the water like we do go for a vacation you just have to walk down the back stairs and you are in the water. The kids love it "

"This property was perfect for our family and two dogs. It literally has everything you could need - from coffee pods, sugar and creamer to extra dog dishes, poop bags and an outside dog lead! We loved spending time by the firepit, exploring the creek, napping in the hammocks. Great place to do absolutely nothing! Keep an eye out for the water snake we found who lives creekside next to the house- harmless- just likes to sun himself peacefully. :)"
