The ski resort that offers skiing on the right mountain

Hemavan Tärnaby is northern Sweden's largest ski resort and offers outstanding skiing in a fantastic mountain environment. Hemavan and Tärnaby are two resorts that offer skiing for all levels.

Hemavan's ski area has a total of 10 lifts, 50 runs, 2 snow parks and a Skicross Arena. In Hemavan there is also the free-riding paradise Kobåset, which is considered by many to be Sweden's best free-riding area. In Tärnaby you will find 5 lifts and 30 runs.

Cozy and genuine with a large selection. Hemavan is a growing off with a large selection of restaurants, shops and entertainment at the same time as they are extended and genuine feeling with the big city soda feeling removed. After a long day on the ski slopes, you can relax with a cup of coffee in one of the city's restaurants or why not relax with a sauna or a hot tub with a magnificent view of the mountains. For those who would rather pick up the pace after a day on the slopes, they can choose between a fast-paced après ski at Hemavan's Högfjällshotell, a nice troubadour night at Baren En Trappa Upp or why not end the evening with röj at the nightclub Lappkastet.

Tärnaby – world master factory. Here you will find the most skilled skiers in relation to the number of inhabitants, without a doubt. In the famous Ingemarbacken, Ingemar Stenmark, Stig Strand, Thomas Ringbrant, Anja Pärson, Jens Byggmark, Bengt Fjällberg and many, many more have become really good skiers.

Hemavan is completely unique as it is the only ski resort in Sweden that can boast an airport in the middle of town, just a few minutes' walk from the ski slopes and accommodation.
