"From booking to check out everything was so easy. Communication was excellent and detailed. We spent a good bit of time hiking the nearby trails then enjoying a pint in one of the lovely pubs in town. An easy walk to a great market for those that wish to cook. It has great hiking snacks as well. Fell in love with the chicken chorizo scotch egg, it may be the perfect hiking snack. Be sure to stop by one of the many pubs for great beer and food. "The house was marvellous, spacious and charming but modern too. The kitchen area was clean, with lots of quality appliances and kitchen utensils, beds were very comfortable, the showers, bath and toilets were very clean and modern and in good working order.It's in a great location with lovely views and quick access by car or foot to nearby Kirkby Stephen. The nearby stream/beck provided hours of fun for the 8 year old with us. All in all a lovely holiday experience."
