"From even before our arrival Nicolas messaged me to give information. At the suites he welcomed us and showed the suite with explanation of every amenities and also described the building history. Just amazing to live in a building from the 14th century, but with all the modern appliances you have in your own home. "Ons verblijf bij De Gulde Schoen is ons wederom supergoed bevallen. We houden van de luxe uitstraling en goede kwaliteit van afwerking van de ruimtes. Van de matrassen op het bed die heerlijk liggen tot aan het kopje koffie uit het Nespresso apparaat, alles klopt gewoon. En dik pluspunt is dat wanneer je de deur uitstapt je midden in het centrum staat. We hebben weer genoten!"

Pudemos utilizar os serviços da recepção após o término de nossa estadia pois teríamos que esperar até o fim do dia para sair da cidade. Internet e local tranquilo para fazer reuniões. Armários para guardar nossas malas até efetivamente sairmos. Adorei."

- parkeren! 31€ voor een dagkaart in
de parkeergarage vlakbij is best erg veel geld en toch een stukje lopen. Als daar een betere oplossing voor is, houden we ons aanbevolen.
- er is geen tv op de kamer (hoewel we het nu niet gemist hebben)
- er is geen lift, wij hadden geen problemen met de trap, was ook maar 1 etage, maar voor anderen wel iets om...
"Een fanrastisch logeerplek voor een weekend Antwerpen. Het is eens wat anders dan de standard verblijplekken. De omgeving van art deco huizen maken het helemaal af.

"Lovely old hotel conveniently located to all the sights of Antwerp, but in a mostly residential area that is quiet and peaceful. Great breakfast, friendly staff, very relaxed environment. The building is beautiful, but be aware that you’ll need to climb plenty of stairs; if that’s a problem, choose a more modern hotel with an elevator! I enjoyed my night here and would stay here again if I return to Antwerp. My room was basic, but I slept well, and that’s what really matters at a hotel."

"Ótima estadia, localização sensacional, bem no centro de Antuérpia ao ladinho da catedral, em frente tem várias opções de restaurantes."
"We made several complaints about our shower that was flooding the whole bathroom. Nobody fixed it during our 4 nights stay. We were not offered a new room or even a discount
The flooding was really bad. The water leaked to the carpet in the room every day, causing a disgusting smell
I talked to several people, from reception to housekeeping and maintenance and absolutely nothing was done
Furthermore, we were not advised that the street was blocked for maintenance. It was a bad surprise and if we knew it beforehand, we would have selected another hotel "
"Estadia perfeita! Muito conforto, ótimo custo-benefício, próximo dos pontos turísticos e supermercados. Possui uma área de convivência maravilhosa, com geladeira comum, microondas, torradeira, e chaleira elétrica. Check in e check out ágeis, mas se precisar de qualquer coisa também tem recepção.
