If you are looking for a quiet mountain getaway, Uber Helen is the place.

We take pride in maintaining a sparkling clean house and we are following the Enhanced Cleaning Protocols.

Super cute getaway cabin with 1 loft bedroom with queen bed in Alpine Helen, GA. Features a jetted tub that opens into the living room. Bathroom with enclosed shower. Small dining area with pull out chairs. Queen sofa bed on main. All in a compact 600 sq. foot space.

Our cabin is small and cozy.
Gas logs can be viewed from the jetted tub. Open loft bedroom with new queen mattress!! Bathroom has enclosed shower. A dining table with two chairs perfect for a home grilled dinner using the gas grill on the deck
Kitchen has microwave, oven and stove top, coffee pot, utensils and tableware. We have wifi for your use with the smart TV. Use your own streaming subscription.

The hot water was tepid. Not hot enough to take a shower, nor wash dishes.The heating system shook the cabin each time it turned on in the ‘low fan’ setting… had to use the gas fireplace to heat the cabin, the gas was on a timer which required to be reset throughout the night…

We came during Thanksgiving/Treelighting Week - 11/26-11/30.Had a great time enjoying the cabin life.Its nice that it's away from the town butclose enough to get to town. The jacuzzi tubis a great addition to the ambience. This location is best for couples and maybe one more person. Sofa bed was not great for two teenage boys. Things we did:- hiked a bit of Unicoi State Park - LakeTrail was cool- Bodencee Restaurant was phenomenal, very authentic German cuisine- Traveled to Dahlonega for their tree lighting, all of the shops- Cottage Vineyard/Winery LimogesCellars had fantastic views great wines.A little spendy though but a small, includedfeel.- Hofer's Bakery was Awesome.- Kids Loved the MOUNTAIN Coaster - ALLGAS, NO BREAKS!!!- Tree lighting, Town of HELEN wasbeautiful but busy. A bit more touristy than expected.

This is a great place to stay while visiting Helen and the surrounding area. We could walk to everything in town. (I saw some comments about walking up the hill to get back, for us that was not an issue, we enjoy the walking.) It was clean and quiet and had everything we needed for the stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall our stay was good, a couple of comments. The heater is extremely loud, it worked but in such a small space it really hindered our sleep. I wish the fireplace was available as it may have helped reducing the need for the heater and it cycling so often during the nights. We kept the thermostat as low as we could accommodate, mostly 64..66 degrees. The Weather was certainly cold enough for the fireplace to be available for use. Everything else was great and we really enjoyed our first visit to Helen

My wife and I absolutely loved our long weekend anniversary getaway to Helen! The cabin was fantastic, perfect for a couple. It had the amenities we needed and had such a nice, cozy feel to it. What we loved the most was how quiet and secluded we felt while also being super convenient to town. Highly recommend!

Great secluded space. Loved the cabin. Everything was very clean and rooms were spacious. The only thing negative in your advertising was the walk to town. It would be a challenge even for a young person and the road to cabins is very narrow.

Cabin was private did not use the hot tub. Easy walked to town was a joke. Air conditioning system actually rattled the walls of the cabin when it turned on and cycled off very distracting at night.

Beautiful Cabin nestled in a quiet area, perfect size for my husband and I! We enjoyed the peaceful cool mornings on the porch drinking coffee (we saw deer, a fox and even a hummingbird!!). The road leading up to the cabin is steep and only one way so you have to be careful! I thought the walk from the house to downtown Helen would be easily accessible but we decided it just was not worth the long walk down the steep road especially if we stayed out and it was dark.The fireplace was turned off and I messaged the owner and he said it’s always turned off May through October because it’s summer, which I understand but there was definitely some cool mornings and we were looking forward to having the fireplace on, even if it did not produce any heat just for the aesthetic. Was a tad disappointed that the fireplace was off since the listing said “fireplace” and I didn’t read anywhere where it stated it was off during those months. Just a heads up if you book for Sept/Oct.Other than that it was a great stay, the host was very quick to answering any messages I had. Highly recommend for a quiet cabin in the woods (3 other cabins nearby FYI - super quiet though!)
