"My friends and I have been doing weekend trips around DC for seven years now and this stay easily had the most amazing views. The pictures do not do it justice. Great beds, one of our folks enjoyed the pool, and all in all we had an amazing time. Note that the sixth bedroom is in the loft. We also loved the screened in porch and great water pressure and birdwatching. Tony was very responsive, checking in throughout our stay."

"We have stayed here before in 2024. The Linden Chalet is quiet, surrounded by beautiful tall oak trees and is a MUST for a chillaxing vacay. Everything we could need was there in place. I wanted for nothing! And, the host kept up with quick texts and daily checked with us to make sure we were experience a fantastic stay...and WE DID! I will certainly rent this home again. The beds are super comfortable and the sheets feel so comfy and clean. The added touches of little lamps and decor...

"This was a great place for our visit to Harpers Ferry. It was very spacious, secluded, and had all the amenities you would need. Highly recommend!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Shepherdstown property. The home was spacious, clean, and provided plenty of room to relax and unwind. Its location was excellent—close to Shepherdstown's charming downtown area, where we enjoyed exploring the local shops, restaurants, and historic character of the town. The property was also conveniently located near several historical sites and scenic walking trails, making it easy to enjoy the area's rich history and natural beauty. "We loved the quiet property. So relaxing and the train theme was great!!! While there was just the 2 of us, it would be a great place for a family, too!"

"It was a wonderful place to stay!! The house was clean and neat. The host was great to communicate with and did so in a timely manner. It was a great area to visit!!"

"It was overall a great space for a relaxing weekend with a small group of friends."

"The weather played havoc with our Memorial Day weekend plans, but we still managed to have a great time. We ended up spending far more time in the Robin’s Nest than originally planned, so I feel confident in saying it was a comfortable home away from home for us. We made a couple of meals and streamed some movies on the smart TV, but mostly we lounged around when we weren’t out seeing the soggy sights."

"We had a slight hiccup when checking in, but it was quickly remedied. House was great with lots of living space for our large group to spread out. I would definitely rent again and will if we are in this area again (likely since our daughter lives in the area). Kitchenware was adequate for our needs. Could have used a few more towels. We weren’t able to reach the host near the end of the trip (asking about the towels) but most needs were met by the management company. Had to add one more day...

"The pictures used for the listing was not what was currently in the house. Upon arrival the wooden planks used for the sidewalk were loose and lifted when you walked. The driveway was overgrown with low tree line. The sidewalk was overgrown with weeds. The yard was in need of mowing. When opening the front door, the smell of “wet dog” instantly hit you. The carpet on the stairs were worn and in need of cleaning. The upper deck needs to be replaced. I got a splinter when using the railing. The...

"The house was not clean. Surfaces were sticky, dishes in the cupboard were dirty, the shower had not been cleaned, the toilet was broken, much of the furniture was unstable, including the beds, one of which had a loose pillar, the other with a headboard that was not attached to anything. The entrance through the carport was dangerous and ill-smelling. There was no functioning key to the front door, so entrance had to be made through the carport every time. In the horse bedroom, there was one...

"The property was absolutely wonderful! We have a great time. It was clean, comfortable, and we really enjoyed all of the amenities that were on site! Area was secluded, nice and quiet. The little snacks on the coffee bar and everything else were a very kind gesture. Host was very communicative and responds promptly. Very kind and hospitable! We really appreciated the last minute request I had made of bringing one more person and our dog! Looking forward to staying again sometime! Thank you all...
