The power was out for most of our stay - not their fault, it affected the whole region - but the wood stove, the propane stovetop, and wood-fired hot tub meant we could still enjoy all the things! "I really enjoyed my stay at the Dome. It's comfortable, cozy and the perfect location for exploring Peggy's Cove. Fav things: the indoor and outdoor fire, sauna, and bird feeders. Constant views of blue jays, juncos, doves and chipmunks feeding and fleeting in the woods. The bed is really comfy, too, and there are plenty of appliances and kitchen tools to cook your own meals if you plan for what is available. "

"Our suite was nice and spacious but lacked its own dedicated outdoor space so the picnic table in the large garden got a lot of use. We prefer to self cater so a toaster oven in our kitchenette would have been helpful or access to a barbecue (even if it was shared). The suite itself was lovely, the location perfect yet still very quiet. It was easy to walk into lunenburg or the grocery store so lots of positives. I’d definitely want to come back but try to book a suite with more amenities. "
