"The Clewiston Inn is a faded elegant place. It became run-down and the new manager doesnt have the budget or talent for good renovation work. Rooms are big and furniture is heavy and old but sorta elegant, like all the fine original woodwork. Crummy little breakfast. And they ignorantly leave the buildings outside floodlights on 24/7. They seem mentally challenged there. But the architecture is charming. I prefer it to square concrete modern hovel hotels."

"This was our second stay at this property and once again we enjoyed our time. The 2-room suite was beautiful and comfortable, the scene of the lake relaxing. The included breakfast selections were great and the food was tasty. They told us that they're currently doing renovations (5/20/26), but honestly we could not see any signs as they kept everything nice and clean. We look forward to seeing what the renovations bring because in our opinion the property is already lovely."

"For the price, almsot $200 for two nights, I can't say I would want to stay here again. Cleanliness was incredibly lacking. The shower head was disgusting, if it can't be cleaned, a new head is such a low cost to keep replaced. You can tell aspects have been remodeled, but not everything, but the a/c unit has no auto function so you can tell it is shut down at times creating a musty smell and rusting all of the fixtures in the room. If they kept up with the rooms and cleaned more, it could be...

"I travel a lot and I stay in Mom and pop places. This has to rank up there being one of the very, very best that I have stayed in very very clean orderly well kept well maintained the man at the front desk was super nice very professional great person to talk to enjoyed my stay thorough"
