"Our family of 4 visited the area around Oberon to go fossicking and Hillcrest Farm Stay was a fabulous place to stay. The accommodation was very comfortable, warm and well equipped. The kids particularly enjoyed the fire pit in the cold weather! The host, Neil, was very responsive in the lead up, and also hospitable and attentive during our stay. We will definitely be back!"

"Loved our stay here. A perfect bookend to 7 months on the road. It was a cold couple of days and the great supply of firewood was much appreciated. Beautiful location, wildlife (Echidna outside our door) Host were full of information. We will come again🙂"

"From the time we reached there, Allan and Loraine made us feel welcomed as if we were visiting family or friends.The property was super clean, very well supplied and they seem to have carefully considered little details to make the experience great - things like there is a small torch in keychain for example. The porch has amazing mountain views and you can enjoy perfect sunset. They are also beekeepers, they offered us free honey tasting and samples. We really liked it and purchased some of it....

"The property was amazing and the views spectacular. The house is very spacious with room to spread out. Beds & pillows were all comfortable, water pressure in showers were good and beautiful soft towels. "Was originally put off with the BROWN Paint on the external metal as it appeared old and rusted. I was incorrect, the place is new and the paint was new. Just an optical illusion. They supplied Fresh Bread and Local Jams. Being Country people they offered a warm welcome. Down stairs double bedroom, with door, Upstairs was Double Bed and Single Bed, in an open environment. Accomodation was immaculate with all the Kitchen utensils and plates and bowls etc. Great for a country get away"

"I stayed at Wombalee with my partner & our dog, this July.It was an awesome home to enjoy the views, nearby bushwalks, visiting Mayfield Gardens, antique stores as well as exploring the property’s beautiful paddock & acreage.Highlights of most days was visiting the butchers in town, going back to the well-appointed kitchen for a cookup while the fireplace was being setup, then chilling on the super-comfy sofas with a red wine & or the local port."
