"The worked out very well for us. Directly on the snow trail. Very nice staff/owner. We arrived before normal check in hours and hit the trails right away. Because we didn't actually go to room until after 9pm, there was a remote "check in" option that works well. I wouldn't recommend for vehicles pulling long 16ft or bigger trailers, as parking is very tight. But for a little 10 ft trailer, it was wonderful 👍"

"Stew met us outside and welcomed us to Northwoods Motel. He checked us in and told us about the features of the motel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. It was quiet and comfortable and close to town. We had a couple non-motel related issues and Stew gave good advice and offered to help in any way he could. I would easily stay here again when in Hayward!"

"Serene and beautiful. Might make it a yearly escape. Snow mobiles on the lake were cool to see. Deer bounding around on the lake. You truly feel disconnected from the hustle and bustle. It was perfectly quiet and there was tons to explore on the property. Went for valentine's day and it was the perfect solo trip. "

"A delightfully welcome to Hayward, Wisconsin. House was warm, clean and very welcoming. Having available access to washer and dryer was wonderful. Jill was quick to respond to questions. It is a quant quiet location and the deer in the back area were fun to watch. Am so glad we found it. Delightful place to stay while visiting family. Thank you, Jill."

"Super cute, clean cabin and exactly as described. Good spot if you’re traveling with a dog—lots of nearby areas to walk and run (even in winter, with snowmobile trails close by). Cabins are close to one another which wasn’t a concern for us but something to note if you are looking for privacy. Also only about a 2-minute drive from downtown, so everything is super accessible. Communication with the host, Matt, was also great. Would absolutely stay again!"

"Our second floor room was recently remodeled, with two, firm queen bed mattresses and more comfortable linens that I usually expect from a Super 8. The bed frames were the platform style that you cannot loose items underneath, which is always nice. The flooring was new and clean, and the cabinets had nooks instead of cupboards --again, storage I really like because it makes sense and I won't leave items behind because I forget to look in a cabinet.
