"Wir verbrachten in Thordis' schönem Haus Anfangs März 2020 vier Nächte als Familie (2 Paare). Wir fanden im sauberen Haus alles, was wir brauchten. Die Inneneinrichtung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Das Haus liegt abseits der Strasse nach Gullfoss in einer weiten und ruhigen Landschaft mit genügend Abstand zu einigen anderen Häusern. Thordis kontaktierte uns von Zeit zu Zeit via Mail kurz vor, während und am Ende unseres Aufenthaltes. Danke Thordis! Wir kommen gerne wieder! "

"Anything this location lacks in luxury is made up for in the solitude and peacefulness of the property. The Private hot tub overlooking a horse and sheep pasture was a great addition. Visually isolated from the road and from all other nearby properties. About 10km outside of town gets you away from the other tourists. "This was the last night in Iceland after camper vanning it all week. And, i must say it was an experience. The drive there, the surrounding area, and the beautiful view from the top was phenomenal! The room was very clean and modern feeling. I felt like a James Bond villian in my tower. We got lucky and were the only people there, so we had the tower to ourselves. I highly recommend this stay for a unique night with amazing views!! "

"We really loved this place. It is in the middle of nowhere - but everything in Iceland kind of is. It was so peaceful here. The cottage was bigger than i imagined. The kitchen has basics like salt/pepper/oil. Close to the famous golden circle destinations so you get an early start in the loop before the rest of the tourists join in."

"We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, can’t wait to be back! "

"Banheiro amplo e reformado. O quarto estava um pouco frio e o aquecedor não funcionava ou estava desligado, não esquentava mesmo ligando-o. Escutavamos todas as pessoas que entravam na propriedade. Limpeza superficial, mas faltava limpeza detalhada. Roupa de cama de baixa qualidade (cheia de bolinhas). Faz falta cozinha comunitária e/ou refeitório para uso dos hospedes. Ha um pequeno supermercado a uns 50m, o que é muito pratico."
