"Lovely place, great location on the high street. Private, off street parking is very helpful - the entrance to it is through a very narrow archway which was a tight squeeze for an SUV. The property itself is well kept & equipped. Very clean and nicely furnished. Communication from the owner by text on the day with all the check in info was very helpful."

"Lovely bungalow with a secure garden for the children to play out in. The location is perfect, really quiet and peaceful, the perfect place to unwind in the countryside. Easy access to lots of stunning places to visit. The bungalow is well equipped with everything you may need and Mary the host is lovely, helpful and welcoming. Thank you Mary!"

"At the last minute (day before) my accommodation was cancelled & I was given 2 alternative options, given the lateness I opted for one, it was good, but the instructions to enter underground car park & accommodation was extremely very poor, resulting in me getting very stressed & having to phone the letting agent, wasn't happy at all, they apologised & said they'd get back to me, after they read the instructions of an email I got, still awaiting their reply. Disappointed"

"Had an amazing stay at Whorlton Lodge. Very spacious and very clean was a home from home. We will definitely be returning in the summer. The views were beautiful from the front windows. The enclosed gardens was amazing for our dog milo who had a lovely time playing in the garden and exploring. Keith was lovely and so helpful!"

"We loved our stay, we had 4 nights and tge weather wasnt so great but it didnt stoo us or spoil our mini break. My little boy loved the beach and eventhough it was a bit windy it didnt stop him. The view when you sit at the table for food or just on the couch with a cuppa is breathtaking, its so tranquil to watch the sea. The caravan was well equipped with everything you may need and the beds where very comfortable. We enjoyed playing the games that where available. A short walk of appx 25 mins...

"The house/garden was perfect for us to stop for the night with 3x children. It would have been good to have thicker curtains/or kind of black-out curtains for the bedrooms. The combinations of summer nights and the street lights made life a bit tricker to get children to settled for the night, but the beds was comfortable and big enough to share! The house is literally 3 min drive away for Morrison and that was a bonus as well."

"Wonderful and well organised property from the comprehensive instruction file covering every gadget in the property to the motion sensor lights which switch on automatically as you walk in the kitchen. Very clean. The welcome pack was like Christmas all over again 😊 short walk into Northallerton so great location too. Highly recommended."

"The Hen House cottage was a great place to stay for our trip in the Durham area. The village of Brandon is a beautiful location for going for walks in the countryside and with a great pub/ restaurant called the Bay Horse Inn on 50m away it’s a perfect place to stay. The village is very close to the historic house, chapels and gardens of Ushaw and Brancepeth Castle, which are both excellent places to visit!! Would happily stay here again when visiting the area as it’s a perfect little...

"Nice and comfortable place with everything you need, convenient stores 5 mins walk, there are bus stops, but I think is convenient to have a car and there is a great driveway next to the house and the beds are clean & comfortable. The only downside for me it’s not pet friendly anymore, she had a bad experience in the past with other guests and asked as soon as I arrived if my small dog would be kept in a crate during my stay. For people whom own dogs, we know that it’s difficult to control...
