"Had a wonderful experience at the Gecko Bungalow. Michelle and Scott are amazing hosts, and to be honest, the property is even better than the pictures. You will love the pool and outdoor area which has lots of comfortable seating and an overall awesome vibe. The hosts recommend an excellent driver, the location was perfect for tours/excursions, and the food options were plentiful. You will not be disappointed :)"

"We had a wonderful experience at this location. Check-in was very easy, and the host was most accomodating with our early check-in request. The location is convenient to much of what we wanted to see in Belize City. The studio apartment was neat and clean with all of the accessories that we would have wanted. It is our plan to return to Belize City in the future and our hope to again stay at this location."

"Property was spacious, and clean. There was a lot of things that they considered to make it seem more like home. There’s a grocery store a few blocks away if you would rather stay in to eat. There’s also a nice ocean view walk a couple blocks away. The neighborhood seemed safe to walk around any time of day. "

"I arrived after office was closed and they communicated properly and made sure I had the code to my lock box to get in my room . Was lovely and peaceful and a great stay . Will definitely be staying again "

"Cute little condo. We stayed for 2 days with our 2 kids and visited the ruins and old Belize. We arrived at night and the addresses on the houses are very difficult to see since there are no street lights. Neighborhood looks a little sketch but is completely safe. Would stay here again! "

"We spent four nights in the amazing tree house overlooking the Belize River. The beautiful swinging Howler Monkeys were right outside the house only feet away. They can be noisy neighbors but the are so worth it! The hosts are amazing and do everything possible to make this a jungle home away from home. Their pool is fantastic. Relaxing to take a dip in the pool since it’s crocodile free, unlike the river in the other side of the house. Truly made memories that will last a lifetime. "

"I was floored when I saw the outside of the property and speechless upon going in. Everything about this place was so perfect I cannot begin to explain how staying here made our trip exceptional. It was so clean, homey, comfortable, everything you'd want in a vacation home. Communication was also super easy and quick, I cannot wait to be back"

"The camp is a wonderful place to stay if you’re going to be venturing around Belize. It is centrally located just outside of Belize city and is actually a short drive to almost anywhere in the country. We toured all over the country while staying there and easily made it back each day to the camp by bedtime. The place is run by some wonderful people who love their job and make you feel very welcome and at home. I will definitely be staying there when I go back to conduct business in Belize."

"I have nothing good to say about this place. Dirty, bad bed, employee who only wants to take advantage, overcharge a lot for a trip to the airport that is not even 9 km. It was a terrible experience."

WORST STAY IN BELIZE

"WORST STAY IN BELIZE Terrible stay, dirty, they didn't clean our room one day, they didn't let us know that the hotel restaurant would be closed and we had no option for breakfast or dinner. The shower in the room was either too hot or too cold, terrible for taking a shower. To top it all off, when we arrived at the hotel there was no one at the reception and it was ONE PM on a Saturday afternoon. We waited almost half an hour in the sun until a security guard showed up to open the door. The next night (7pm) a guest arrived at the same time my friend and I arrived back at the hotel and what happened? The new guest ended up on the street because there was no one at the reception. Finally, the hotel manager (Franco) was super rude to us, treated me and my friend very badly and even raised his voice to the point of not even letting us use the hotel BATHROOM. Unfortunate, the worst stay of my life"
