Darling Cape Cottage just steps from downtown Harwichport and walking distance to the beach!

This small home provides the perfect short term rental anytime of the year. Start your day with a walk to the beach, and walk to local restaurants in the evenings. This 2 Bedroom , 1 Full Bath Home comes with all the essentials you need to feel right at home. Great for a small family or a couple looking for a long weekend in the off season or a week or more during the Summer months. New mattresses, all new linens and comfortable living room furniture will allow you to relax at the end of the day, after taking advantage of all that Harwichport (and surrounding area) has to offer. A new large outdoor shower, gas fire pit and bonus outdoor living space in the garage, adds to the appeal of this centrally located home.

This was our second stay at this home and it didn't disappoint! My husband and I celebrated New Year's on the Cape this year. This home had everything we needed and then some. The location is great, it's very clean, the bed was comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, and linens and towels are provided. The owner's had even decorated it for Christmas, which was a wonderful surprise when we arrived. We've already booked again for our spring trip.

This property was in great condition. It is in walking distance to everything in Harwichport. Communication with the owner was easy and there were very responsive. I would definitely rent this place again.

The house is exactly as advertised. Very clean, well decorated with all amenities considered. one block from shops/restaurants and 2 blocks from the beach but feels very quiet and private. Easy communication, I would happily stay here again.

2nd stay! We had a wonderful time! The house is adorable and extremely well maintained. Kitchen and bath are stocked very well. So nice to just drop our bags and go to the beach. Everything is ready to go. The outdoor patio is amazing with Edison lighting and a fire table. Great extra room in the garage to hang out. Bikes to ride and all your beach needs like chairs and towels. Great neighborhood and the owners are so responsive and pleasant to rent from. We will be back !!! again!

Absolutely fantastic experience. We have been coming to the Cape for many years and this was our best rental experience by far. The house was perfect and our hosts were incredibly hospitable. They really thought of everything from beach chairs to house bikes (including a bike lock). We would strongly recommend their home and plan to stay there again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in at the cottage in Harwich Port. The location is great - just a few steps to town, not far from several beaches and close to Brooks Park which has very nice tennis courts, a big tot lot and access to the Cape Cod bike trail. The house is very clean, well equipped (bikes and beach items included), comfortable outdoor sitting area, and was perfect for the 4 of us. The owners were very responsive to our questions and check in was easy. The bonus is what a great town Harwich Port is - good restaurants, art shops and small stores for shopping at your fingertips. You can't go wrong with this one!

Darling was Perfection

We absolutely loved staying at this rental. The location on Cape Cod in the town of Harwich Port was AMAZING. We were so close to the shops, restaurants and beach that we walked everywhere every day. There is also a great 9-hole golf course within walking distance that I was able to take advantage of multiple times. The unit has individual window AC units in each room and they worked great for the 2 days we had higher than normal temperatures. For the cooler evenings we took advantage of the outdoor space. The gas fire pit was great for warmth without smelling like firewood after use. The finished garage room was a delight. We loved having the bikes available for use. We were able to hop onto the Cape Cod Rail Trail and enjoy the outdoors on several days. The washer and dryer units were a bonus. The unit had detergent and fabric softener available. On the occasions that we needed to communicate with the owners the response was quick and thorough. Oh... and we even had cute little bunnies that showed up each day in. the yard. Definitely looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Outstanding location and cottage!

This wonderful updated cottage was welcoming, comfortable, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with everything one could need or want for a week on the Cape. Great layout for indoor and outdoor time with a very large new patio, outdoor furniture, and fire pit. We look forward to returning!

Peaceful Retreat

This is our second year we’ve spent at the cottage and we’d like to come back. The cottage is located about halfway down the Cape so we were able to go to both the Canal and to Highland Light in Truro very easily. Harwich Port is a peaceful town and is within walking distance from the cottage. The cottage is clean and had everything we needed
