The farm also has a working airfield, adding a unique touch to your stay with the chance of seeing light aircraft come and go while enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Our shepherd's hut is one of 700 built by the Dorset hut maker Plank Bridge. Renowned for their build quality, Plank Bridge shepherd's huts exhibit regularly at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

The beautiful beaches of Frinton On Sea, Walton On The Naze, Clacton, Dovercourt, Holland On Sea and Wrabness are all a short drive away which gives the perfect balance of a countryside getaway with the option to explore the nearby coast.

Manningtree, Dedham Vale, Wivenhoe and the historic city of Colchester are all within 30 minutes, making The Eyrie an ideal base for exploring some of Essex and Suffolk's most picturesque locations.
