"The property is 1.7 miles from Main Street Downtown. The carriage rides take 30-40 minutes in/out of downtown, not easy to schedule, and $11/pp each way. We walked 21 miles while we were on Mackinac Island for 3 days. We booked a King with pullout but was never informed it was a handicapped room -bug disappointment. "The Cedar Hill Lodge was great for our party of 5 people for a one night stay. We were wanting a place to stay after crossing the Mackinac Bridge. This was a lovely newly renovated resort with lots of amenities. We stayed in room 252 which was in the Spruce building. We had the room with multiple beds and a balcony. The room was large, comfortable, clean, and worked perfect for us! The bathroom was clean and in good condition. The sink is outside of the bathroom which was very convenient for us...

"It was great to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Close to the state park with lighthouse museum and fort michilimackinac within easy walking distance. The free shuttle bus to Sheplers ferry dock was also appreciated."

"Super charming hotel! The room was straight out of the era in which the hotel was built yet with a modern bathroom. Hotel is conveniently located in the middle of it all. Ample bicycle parking near by. Hot tub was a nice distraction on a day we weren't sure what to do. Also the porch chairs were a perfect spot to people watch. "Rooms weren't cleaned and we didn't get towels a couple of the days we were there. Front desk is really nice and so is every maintenance person. We needed a maintenance person because we found out on day 2 the door was not locking."
