"It’s kind of an old hotel, but our room had been completely overhauled. Very clean, lots of outlets and usb ports, updated bathroom. Only stayed two nights and spent most of our time exploring Harper’s Ferry and nearby restaurants. The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. One drawback, no elevator, but it’s only two stories so no big deal."
"The room the electric did not work in the bathroom or one wall of the room. I told the owner and he came and looked and said I will fix it. He played around and the electric for the air went out, then the tv electric went out. He never fixed it"
"Beautiful place, quiet, so peaceful. This place is true therapy. Breakfast was delicious. The owners are professional, and very nice. Highly recommended. "
"Enjoyed a 2 nite stay here while attending CATF theatre festival in Shepherdstown. Enjoyed the outdoor hottub after biking on C&O Canal towpath, and fantastic country breakfasts. Views to the west over Antietam battlefields are spectacular! Hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming, including the talking parrot! "
"The first hotel that actually got their handicap lift working for my son.They webt out of their way to get this done quickly..All the people super friendly The lady who takes care of the breakfast in the morning was so pleasant to everyone ..Just a real sweet lady..Will definately stay here again"
"We have visited several times and have always had a wonderful experience! Hampton is our go to wherever we travel, wonderful staff, clean facilities and just an excellent atmosphere. They are accommodating and welcoming and an amazing start to our getaways!"
"Penny's diner was open 24/7 so we could leave on our bikepacking trip early in the afternoon. The bfast was very good and at a reasonable price. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. supportive of bike packing the C&O. Had a seperate room for bike storage. "
"Whenever we drive from Florida we stay at this motel as it’s convenient to the casino and our friends who live in Frederick and Boonsboro. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. The bartender at the downstairs bar was awesome! He even likes Charlie Crockett! Hahaha I would recommend staying here. "
