"The house and property is in a great location! It’s close to the pier where my boys fished and kayaked. We toured the lighthouse which was so amazing. We had such a great time enjoying the local wineries as well. There was plenty of space in the house and it has everything you need. The trail to the fire pit was the best! The stars are amazing at night with the most beautiful sunsets! The host was very communicative, available, and gracious. Would definitely recommend!"

"We stayed in this house for two months while we were doing a kitchen renovation, The only reason we stayed is because we had no other options this time of year for a rental that would take pets. We survived because we brought everything we needed from our house. We did not receive any instructions prior to the rental and there were no instructions at the house for check-in and checking out procedures, internet/tv access or information on the local area. Phone reception was mildly decreased, which was perfect for not falling into the phone but still being somewhat connected. Nestled in the trees, just far enough from the neighboring houses. "We had a perfect little getaway from Wednesday through Saturday. The place was clean and well-stocked with all the little necessities that make a stay comfortable. The dock was great. We really enjoyed the fishing, though unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate for kayaking. Hated to leave, but we’re already looking forward to future visits"

"Our host, Joshua, was quick to respond to our questions. The property itself has unbelievable views out of every window- even saw a white spotted young fawn! Truly is a beautiful old house. You can see the care and consideration Josh and his wife put into renovating the home. The ladies all found their bedrooms to be very comfortable. We truly enjoyed ourselves and had plenty of room to relax in the spacious kitchen, dining room and the family room. "

"The house was perfect for our fishing trip to Lake Chataqua. The property provided space to park the boat and the outside electric made it easy to charge the battery. The home itself was immaculate and the owners provide everything needed. The washer and dryer was a huge bonus after a rainy day on the water! Wonderful!"
