"This hotel provided a reasonably sized and comfortable room. The bathroom, although a bit small, was well-organized, making it convenient for guests. The breakfast was excellent value for money, offering a variety of hot food options.
However, the bathroom had a very unpleasant smell that persisted throughout our entire stay of six days. I suspect it was coming from the shower curtain fabric or the sewer line. Additionally, the bathtowels were not made of cotton."

"Firstly, it was lovely to stay in an independently owned hotel where the staff clearly have great pride in their hotel and ensuring that guests are happy with their stay.
Everyone was charming and helpful.
The breakfast was lovely and the evening meal, although not an extensive menu, was freshly prepared and nicely presented.
In the evenings this is an extremely popular pub with locals and visitors. The bars were absolutely packed and in the Corn Exchange next door was an AC/DC tribute band. We...

"Thank you for an Absolutely a fantastic stay, the room is a good size with every amenity and extra luxury touches, you want for nothing. Breakfast was fantastic, cooked well and fresh and plenty. The bed is huge and soft. And the hosts themselves couldn't do enough to make you feel welcome

"This is a hotel in a lovely location with much to see around it but what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend in a nice hotel was any thing but. The reception on arriving was stale and disinterested. The room was small. On the first day I had to go to reception three times just for milk. Saturday a wedding was held at the hotel and lack of management of noisy people outside our window until 1.40am meant very little sleep in spite of reporting it three times.
