"The owners of the hotel have done an amazing job bringing life back to a 100+ year old gem of a property. The restaurant and downstairs lounge/ fireplace area call back to a charm of years gone by when care was put into the decor and furnishings of places. The rooms can be a bit spartan but are clean and very comfortable. The area around the hotel is near hospitals so there is a bit of noise and character to the neighborhood but you can still get around to some great shops and restaurants if you...

"Wonderful restored historic hotel. It still has the old time charm from its days as a gentleman's club from back in the gold rush days. It modernized with LEDs, modern elevators etc. Very secure with room key required to access guest room floors. Helpful bell staff. The room was comfortable with a great restroom & shower. The restaurant and breakfast cafe were great. I will go back."

"Hotel was amazing ! The parking was not good and they charged $15 for it and had to park very far in the back ! Breakfast buffet in the AM was nice but very small for choices - was very nice the mall and restaurants were all within walking distance . The Starfire sports complex was 5 mins from hotel made that nice for going back and forth for games . "
