The West is a great location in the Old Quarter. We have been to Hanoi many times and I think this has been my favorite hotel. Ms. Linh was amazing. She was so helpful with anything we needed and very sweet. She helped us book a trip to Sapa that we really enjoyed. We will definitely be staying at The West again in the future!!

Amazing staff! So friendly and helpful! Great breakfast! Great laundry service. The toilet would "girgle" off and on and splash water all over the toilet seat.

We found the staff very helpful and supportive. They went out of their way to help us when our plane was delayed and to make us feel comfortable during our stay.

First time in Ha Noi it was crazy good. Very busy streets but shopping and dinning was very affortable, Hotel was clean and work well for my family of 4.

Nice hotel in the old quarter and actually on the street where the night market. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I booked a car with the hotel from and to the airport. Good price and excellent service. And last night I came back to my room to some snacks and a thank you card from the hotel!

Best Location and Good price
The Staff were wonderful. They even help carry your luggage to the room. Breakfast was delicious. All you can eat and they can pre-packed it if you need to leave very early for your trip or you can even eat after the breakfast is closed. Loaction is right at the heart of happening, shopping and food. Very convenient. Highly recommend.

Great hotel
Great place to stay in Hanoi. Location is fantastic in the heart of the old quarter, rooms are really nice, spacious, comfy and clean. Staff are great, especially those on the front desk. Always keen to help with directions, taxis, etc. Fully recommend.

Short stay in Hanoi
We spent 2 nights, then we were in Sapa for a night and then had another night reserved on our return. On the way back from Sapa the hotel contacted us and said they had a problem and had booked us into their sister hotel "The Golden Rooster". This was a real bother as they had to transfer the bags we had left etc. In the West hotel we had a nice 3 person room (single and double bed) with a window. Room was clean with enough room for the three of us (adults). Everything worked fine: AC, lights, hot water, fridge. Breakfast was fine with plenty of food - maybe a bit crowded. Reception was friendly and the location is good near the market, street food and lake. They stored our big suit cases for us while we were in Sapa for free. We would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff (especially Viet) were extremely helpful and graciously stored our luggage on-site when we were on a multi-day tour. We woukd stay here again.

Very close to Hoan Kiem Lake. Lots of food and shops around the area. The Night Market is in front of the building on weekends. Love their friendly and helpful staff. The food selection was the same for the four breakfasts we had. Overall, good value.
