Maine Coast Home near Acadia National Park

“This looks like a Grandmas house” A compact 24’ X24’ with a second floor bath and 2 bedrooms each with a queen bed. In 2013 I hired a carpenter to build an 8’ X 13’ bathroom off my kitchen. With another guest building set up for sleeping, the outside entry door now gives guests access to a bathroom with laundry. I have an oil hot air and a wood stove for colder months. AC unit and fans for summer. If you enjoy older homes and a quiet rural life this is a good fit. Situated 15 miles from Winter Harbor with a large part of Acadia National Park to bike or drive this location works well. Then 25 miles other way is the main section of ANP and the busy tourist town of Bar Harbor. I encourage visitors to explore the nearby salt water and trails. Our local Frenchman Bay’s Conservancy opens coastal environments for public use including Tidal Falls one street over. A short walk on an old railroad bed trail next to my property. Guests favorite!
