"We had a lovely stay at the Grape Escape. While it is truly roughing it, all our needs were met and the host was easy to contact if we needed anything. Hammondsport was an awesome town, with nice options for food, drinks, and vibes. Great food everywhere we tried, but Portside Bistro was our favorite. "

"Great location on the Lake. We sat on the beautiful dock enjoying the peace and quiet of the lake. Well equipment. Communication from the Host was timely and instructions clear for checkin and parking. Nice Parking space and easy access to cottage. "

"Gorgeous property and perfectly maintained, clean cabin. Amazing view with a hint of Lake Keuka. Wonderful, helpful hosts. Close to village and an uphill walk to at least one vineyard. Just lovely!"

Besides the backyard splendor of Seneca Lake (with multiple decks and seating from which to reflect), and a front yard that offers a gorgeous vineyard view, especially at sunset, this spacious cottage has personality! Primary colors punch out of a well-stocked full kitchen. Whimsical and vibrant paintings and an eclectic mix of artworks showcase, perhaps, host Jonny’s own hand. And a smoker grill and the hot tub allow for special DIY...

"Great location quite with plenty of sunshine and stars at night. "

"Great location, great home, lots to do in the area and at the home. Cooked many meals at the house, ate dinner out only once to celebrate 3 family birthdays. Rented a pontoon boat from Anchor Inn one afternoon (awesome time on the lake) and did a couple wine tastings. Wagner was fantastic! Also check out Lakewood for excellent wines as well. Sitting on the porch and in the living room looking out across the lake was perfect. And lots of cornhole games on the front porch. Perfect stay for...

"Extremely quiet and peaceful. Surrounded by farmland and close to Seneca lake. One of the beds is a foam mattress to put on the floor. You’ll have to cover the motion detector light if you want to sleep."

"The cabin was exactly what we were hoping to find, very secluded yet close to everything we were planning to do. Very comfortable and with all the extra little touches that made it feel homey. We loved sitting and watching all of the wildlife around the bird feeder each morning while having breakfast. Phyllis was very accommodating and really goes the extra mile to make your stay perfect!"

The hot tub was so appreciated after being in the car; the back patio and the rocking chairs on the front porch helped us enjoy the view of the woods and the beautiful landscaping. Inside, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and everything needed to make a meal. Thoughtful touches were evident throughout. Thank you for a relaxing getaway!"
