Great Getaway

Absolutely enjoyed this place. House is very well kept up and very clean and relaxing. Outside is too. Really enjoyed catching fish in the pond and grilling steaks on the pit. Back porch in back overlooks the pond. Perfect in morning with a cup of coffee or 2 or 3. Ms Karen was a great host. Always checking in to see how we were doing. Definitely recommend this place.

My Favorite VRBO

We chose to stay at this beautiful home for 3 nights while in Georgia for my daughterā€™s wedding. It is AMAZING. So many special touches to make you feel like home. We loved the ducks & Samson the beautiful dog who lives near by at owners home. My twin grandaughters loved fishing, feeding the ducks & the toys. We all loved the screen porch overlooking the pond. Highly recommend! We will be back! The owners are wonderful! Thanks for a perfect stay

Relaxing get away

This was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed! didn't even see one spider web! Very well stocked! So very tranquil sitting out on the screened porch! The trees were magnificent! We had wanted to just have a few days of relaxation and this fit the bill perfect! We enjoyed visiting with the two resident ducks and feeding them some crackers. And Samson, the residents dog, was such an awesome dog! It was just what we had hoped the get away would be! Perfect!

Girlfriend's Getaway

The property was absolutely perfect. Quiet, serene, relaxing, homey and very comfortable for the visit. Pictures were accurate the decorations were lovely. Small details like decorating for upcoming holidays to a local pet that visits with visitors! The screened in porch with the decorative lights overlooking the lake was the perfect location for a weekend getaway or a longer vacation. The house was well stocked with everything we needed to make our visit feel like home. Will make this a return location for our next visit.

Amazing get away

The property and the cabin is so beautiful and so cozy! We loved every minute of it! The house is stocked completely with everything you could need. Karen and her husband are the most precious people. My daughter loved Ducky the duck and Sampson the dog. Definitely the perfect getaway.

What a wonderful visit to Karenā€™s cabin. Staying here was a blood pressure lowering experience that melted our cares away. When you drive up and see the wooded yard with screen porch and fire pit, it instantly puts you in vacation mode. The kids loved meeting the friendly duck who met us at the back of the house, and escorted us to the pond. That was our first time feeding a duck and no it didnā€™t bite! The owners have truly thought of everything inside this house from the emergency fire blanket, coffee pods, crockpots, ample towels, toiletries, toys for the kids, Pack N Play, highchair, flat irons, etc. They even have enough throw blankets in the living room for all of your guest. They have stocked this house for renters as if it was their own family staying. The communication was wonderful. The ease of the door code was perfect. We felt ultra safe on this property, especially with Sampson the dog roaming around outside, and the property was easy to find. We were just down the street it seems from our family who were staying at Callaway Gardens. I donā€™t know why anyone would stay at a hotel when you can stay at a lovely home like Karenā€™s cabin in Hamilton. Thank you for a great experience and for sharing your perfect home with us. Highly recommend.

Felt like coming home to Grandmaā€™s

This place has old Southern charm feel. Beautiful (pictures donā€™t do it justice) inside and out. Quiet, relaxing and clean. The hosts were absolutely fantastic. To me they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and more. If I could give 20 stars I would. Thank you šŸ’œšŸ’œ

Peaceful and Serene

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cabin. It is well stocked and tastefully decorated. The owner made sure we had everything we needed and gave us excellent recommendations of places to eat and things to see in the area. It is an idyllic setting...peaceful and quiet. Very beautiful home

Cozy. Quaint. Rustic charm with a ā€œBoho Chic Twistā€ we loved everything about it. All the necessities were right at hand. The Iron Horse Grille and Carriage and Horses were the best eats ever. Gorgeous area. Lots to do. we will beg to come back.

Karen & Jim were amazing hosts! The house was super clean, fully stocked with anything you could need, and more, gorgeous exterior, and close to FDR State Park, Pine Mntn & Callaway! The hosts were prompt to answer questions, the furor was great, loved the screened in porch, and even had visits from ā€œDuckyā€ the duck and Samson the dog. HIGHLY recommend this location!!!!

We highly recommend this cabin!

This cabin was the perfect place for my family & I to stay while in town for a high school graduation. The 6 of us enjoyed every minute of our 6-night stay! It was clean, decorated nicely & amenities were provided throughout. It offered plenty of living space, all the sounds of nature & so much more! We'll be booking this cabin again the next time we're in town!

We liked the location, easy to get to Calloway Gardens and not a bad drive to LaGrange. Lovely view from the back deck of the pond. Very quiet and private. Had a great time!

Excellent location for Callaway Gardens and many other local attractions. Great communication with owners and a great clean cabin in the woods. Well supplied kitchen for cooking meals.

You will not want to leave

Very clean and some of the best sleep I have ever had. It is well above Home Away From Home. Most important the owners are absolutely some of the nicest people you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. It will definitely be my go to place when we are back in the area.

Karen & Jim are the BEST hosts ever! Cabin is so comfy inviting homey great! We wanted to fish in the pond Jim brought us rods Dropped off a very delicious strawberry cupcake for. You cant look anywhere in the cabin you do not see touches of thought and love. Toys in an old doll cradle. Teddy bear in a chair. My favorite room was the library with the fainting couch!! LOVE the time we spent look forward to more visits
