"March 2026: This is a newly remodeled and beautifully decorated home in the center of Darby. It provided our group with a short drive to ski at Lost Trail, followed up with a well-appointed kitchen to cook our meals. I would highly recommend this home as a great place to use for a home base while you explore Southwest Montana. "

"Beautiful home! The area is so peaceful and quiet! We had a smaller party for the size of the home, and couldn't believe how much room there was, the house just kept going! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you could need to for making meals. We had a lovely weekend and would definitely stay again!"

"This is an off-grid cabin home. Very nice! High on the mountaintop about a 4-mile dirt road but pretty well maintained. It has some little quirks but the host was able to guide us through them. Beds were very comfortable. Cabin is nice and roomy and beautiful areas outside to walk your dog or take a morning or an evening walk. Has a really nice covered porch and several fire pits. We were so busy we didn't get a chance to use them but they are there for you to use. The only negative I have to...

"I love where the property was located, and the house itself has plenty of private and public spaces for those who feel like being social and those who need a break from people. The upstairs is not a safe spot for little children, however, and I would say elementary age up is OK. The stairs are steep and slippery.
