"House was clean. When trying to access the code for the front door, the internet connection was sporadic and it took about 10 minutes to get into VRBO website. Once inside the Wi-Fi was much faster."

"The view was beautiful and the sunsets were amazing. We spent some fun nights playing games there. We loved the front porch. Kim got back to us quickly on the only text we sent and was willing to come by to help. She was great! We were surprised to learn that there were not 2 showers, as was advertised. We also were not aware that someone was living/renting in an attached apartment sharing the same laundry facilities. I feel that would be helpful for others to know. "

"The Windmill Farmhouse was the perfect spot for our family stay over the long Geode Fest weekend. The interior is filled with comfy furniture and thoughtful touches that made it easy to relax after hiking all day. My son especially loved the oversized cushion chairs! The location is out-of-the-way and quiet, but the roads are well-kept, and getting in and out to Keokuk, Nauvoo, and so on was a breeze! "We were four mid-seventies women. We requested 4 beds. In the pictures, it appeared that there was a queen size bed and 3 single beds. The one bed was a junior bed. There was a blow-up bed that had to be brought downstairs. It was a lovely old house, but not really age appropriate for us. There were throw rugs throughout the house, which was a tripping hazard. We found it difficult to find outlets to charge our phones, tablets and watches and the coffee pot. The notes were very helpful. ...
