"When we arrived the booking system had broken and there was a queue of 20 people waiting to check in. Staff were patient but tempers were fraying. We left it two hours and things were better but it still took 20 mins to check in on an antiquated system. Staff were kind. Rooms ok but threadbare carpets, salt-crusted windows and a faint smell of stale smoke. Shower good. Breakfast so-so (usual horrible sausage, nicer eggs). "On our way to the Highlands we stopped over at the Fleece and were pleasantly surprised. Nice big room, comfy bed and good selection of food at the restaurant. Great breakfast in the morning!"

"Stayed many times so won't repeat except to say the food is always exceptional and the staff are super friendly/helpful. The Sauna and Jacuzzi were broken on this visit, which was a shame as I was only there one night. Improvements: The Front Door to the Hotel is SO heavy, could an automatic Power Door not be fitted?
