"The house was very clean!! We loved being on the lake. The gas grill did not hear past 250 degrees. This was extremely disappointing as we had steaks to cook, we had to cook them on the stove. 😖 The kitchen didn’t have any towels. Allen across the street was great he brought us some citronella for the torches and firewood. There were only 3 trash bags which was not enough since we were cooking all our meals."

"This beautiful historical house is located so close to downtown Gladewater we walked to shop and even walked to Skippers pier which was amazing. The attention to all the thoughtful details that made us feel like we were truly staying in an old historical home, made it such an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is a must see and you must cook at least meal. Coffee on the porch made it extra special. We felt safe and I can’t say enough about how wonderful this home is.
